They look like logos of things he probably does have, which gave him the idea to use them.
The skin looks fairly good (i'm guessing this is your first as i've not seen any others of yours), a few logos look like they could be made a bit more central (Logitech being most noticeably off centre a tad). A better shot of the side would be nice so I could say more, but from those angles it doesn't look half bad.
I'd lose the fake vents on the bonnet, they look a bit naff IMO.
Add some 'ripples' to them so they look more like a plastic sheet over the top and not just a black square. A touch of bevel on the edges wouldn't go a miss either. Of course, you could go the whole nine yards and add stitching, metal rings for the rope etc.
If you want swanky looking skins then you need to use decent software (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Gimp, Paint.net to name a few).
Then grab the prokits from here and you'll be on your way to making better skins. They're 2048x2048 and have named layers and the ever so handy wireframes so you can line things up a treat and also see what stretches where.
