I used an old USB TV box thing a while back, plugged the PS2 into it and it looked fine. No quality loss or anything, so I can't imagine a simple cable to do any different, especially as it doesn't have to go through the PC first to get to the screen.

Quote from PioneerLv :When I was making a skin I got only few great quality decals, so I put them on it. Sorry about randomness.

Now you'll never run out of quality decals.

I shall have a look at the settings shortly and see if I can feel the difference. I know my sensitivity is on medium in the profile settings, Forza settings are default though.

As for that pic, thanks. It looks good but i've only just noticed a booboo on the middle of the armco/barrier. I've got another batch of photos ready to be uploaded but it seems the Forza server has gone down for a few hours.

Time to carry on with season play, getting close to getting all golds. I'd say atleast 70%+.

Quote from AstroBoy :Lame i was thinking that this morning.
What about one of them audis?

I guess if the Evo has the option in the tuning section to make it RWD then maybe, would have to cast a vote or something incase people don't deem it very fair (hell of a lot lighter than the rest). I've already tried the Audi's and they're a no go.

Quote from PioneerLv :This is really drived XRR. One of my few done skins at all.

How is it?

Bridgestone, Dunlop AND Firestone? Got any more odd tyres?

Other than that, it's not bad at all for a simple 'ruined' skin.

Quote from 5haz :Pretty much all of their last 5 albums make great driving music.

I thought Stadium Arcadium wasn't all that good, the rest were top notch though.

Another chilled song, Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive. Whenever this song comes on on GTA4, guns stop firing and a cruise along. It only seems right.

Quote from 5haz :Excellent song.

The whole of the Californication album is great to drive to. The song Californication especially. I love my heavy metal but this song is easily in my top 10.

Another crazy driving song, Green Day - Basket Case. Another one of my top 10 songs too.

Is this so obvious that it doesn't need to be posted or what? >P

Already posted that one, it is good enough to warrant a second time.

Quote from Dajmin :

- Cars must be 4-door sport saloon models.
- Using FM3's Performance Index rating, cars must be no higher than B-Class (B500).
- Cars must only use RWD drivetrains.
- Slick tyres are not permitted.

Quote from Luke.S :I'll try to remember to show.

Does an evo count as a sport saloon? It has 4 doors and is saloon shaped

It's not RWD and changing the diff settings doesn't count.

It's fun if you like that kind of humour and it's awesome if you like that kind of music.

Jack Black is a legend. Being a Tenacious D fan I thought the film was right funny, especially as I wasn't exactly sober when I watched it the first time.

Watched 'Metal - A Headbanger's Journey' last night. More of a documentary but it was quite interesting. Norwegian satanist's are fudged up, burning down churches because they hate everything to do with christianity. I had no idea it was that bad.

Good idea to have a new thread for this, would get real awkward trying to read stuff about this in the main FM3 thread.

I'm still undecided on what car to use. It'll probably end up being the M5 or the Carlton.

When is this all going to start anyway? To be realistic i'd say next Wednesday (if Wednesday is the day of choice), that gives everyone a week to get a car prepared and set a hot lap time (when the track gets announced for it).

Another thing, if this little 'series' goes well, would there be others? For example if I suggested a D class hatchback series, we could then incorporate the two series into one session. Have them on the same track each week (Thunder Saloon's race, then the hatchbacks etc).

Just a thought.

Quote from DavidTiger :yea, I have a bike licence and car licence, but my bike licence is limited to 750cc untill either im 21 or my 2 year restriction is up...

I've had bikes since i was 16, now 20, I only have 1 year untill im unlimited..

I thought there was a restriction on power (33bhp) and not engine size if you take your test before you're 21?

I think it's just the angle and the light playing tricks on your eyes.

Quote from danowat :First DLC coming 17th November, Hyundai Genesis Coupe Pack/FREE.

2010 Genesis Coupe 'Forza Motorsport 3 Special'
2010 HKS Genesis Coupe
2010 Rhys Millen Racing Red Bull Genesis Coupe

Free stuff is always welcome. The Genesis Coupe in game now isn't too bad to drive, so the newer one should be nice.

Quote from hrtburnout :Mine would be a little slow for trackdays, but it's fun enough considering the price tag. And yes, I sold the Honda MT5.

<Aprilia RS50 pic>

I had one of those when I was 16, same paintjob too. Brilliant little bike.

As for trackdays on it, it'd be alright round a kart track. Most bike magazines test 50cc bikes on kart tracks, or atleast all the ones i've seen have.

Little 2 strokes can also be a lot of fun without having to be travelling mega-quick

I loved my 125 (Sachs XTC125 2 stroke model. Basically had a DT125 engine), wasn't the quickest (topped out at 90mph) by any means but it was great fun round the twisties.

Ridden a friends Suzuki RGV250 and that was brilliant fun. Quick enough to give you a grin from ear to ear and again loads of fun round the twisties.

Like others said, if you're going to be doing trackdays then you might consider a litre bike, all depends how much experience you have. That said, near enough any bike could be fun on a track.

Quote from Dajmin :I guess it'll have to be done in terms of actual driving rather than just the numbers. The torque rating on the Lexus is much better than the M5 there, but that doesn't mean it's any better to actually drive.

I reckon it'd be a fine match with the others. M5 and IS-F won't need (or be able) to have many tuning parts fitted as they're pretty much at the top of the B class already. I'll do some testing in a little while and see what happens.

Anyway, just finished another picture. Figured LFS'ers might like it seeing as you all love the car so much.
