I have searched for an answer on this forum and in the wiki but just cannot find it.

I am finding changing Combo rather strange.

Say a server is setup as follows in its setup.cfg

AS3, GTR, qualify 25, Laps 10, Mustpit Yes,

It has 20 racers on it and i want to change the combo to

FE6, RB4, laps 3, Mustpit NO

using admin commands. (Via Insim)

Can anyone please give me the exact set of /admin commands to seemlessly go from one combo to another and where there must be gaps

Eg.

/end
wait 5 seconds
/track FE6
Wait 3 seconds

Etc

It sounds simple but whenever i try it, i either seem to have to wait for ages while people click join now (Sometimes several times)

I think most people are not 100% sure what should be happening but just get there in the end

but when they finally get on track its starts as qualify and some still have GTRs or something else is not quite right.

Just been sorting out our 6 server ban files and found a number of username that are not on LFSWorld

a) I think it would be a good idea to validate usernames on a ban

Also one problem that need sorting is when you get a wrecker on a server and he disconnects before you get his name.

So its off to watch the replay and then back on the server to ban him

b) If the connection list "Greyed out" anyone who leaves for x seconds that would be a great feature for admins so we can still use the ban button

The CD3 FWD GTR League and CD6 MRT League are both not supported and will be finished early.

There will be a new league on these servers soon

One or 2 things i cannot understand from your post

1) "I have raced on CD4 twice" - the server is set to practise so you cant race

2) "didn't credit me the last 2 points until days after" - As soon as you get a RCM warning the score goes up by 1. The website is updated once a day in the early morning.

I am on 185 points and its added my points every time.

3) As far as i can tell you have beaten you the target time and your PB 49 times and are on 49 points.

As lotes says if you have the time, date and a replay it would help but without them i cannot see anything wrong

CD1 license time is 1:44.00 and the license system is sometimes switched on when the league is active (6.00pm UK to 3.00am UK) However its only used when the slower cars get in the way of the faster drivers or stop obeying the rules.

We find that switching the license sstem on for a race sort it out so we can get some clean races.

There are 15 hours a day when you can earn a license and doing a single lap of 1:44 in that amount of time should not be a problem, however if it is, its clear you will get in the way and spoil the racing for the others

Is the current schedule for CD2, it is subject to change so it's easier not having to updated all the posters The original posters did have the dates on.

Lotesdelere decided to change the CD6 MRT League so its was select on entry to try to get more people to join that league.

I removed the dates just in case he did it on the others.

Sorry i missed your answer.....

I have been doing test over the last few days and i cannot see the problem but Lotesdelere insists it makes the server jecky when he races and i trust what he says.

We run one other insim connection (LFSBuddy)

The server is one from 500Servers and this only happens when it has about 20 or more connections and on CD1 this is most of the time.

I just clicked the link to your website, then clicked server status

It takes ages to get a server half full, in our case thats 23 racers out of 47. Our average is about 25% so 10

Your server is only 13 slots so your average will be about 3 which is not enough to attrack others.

Your server is also set to PRIVATE so people cant open it up anyway

So to be fair you are stuffed before you start

Dont get annoyed, its not easy to get people to come to an event.

Firstly ask yourself why they should use your server rather than any other. There are over 600 servers on offer so you must try to make yours stand out so they pick it from the huge list.

When i started ConeDodgers my servers were empty so i asked people who i raced against on a regular basis on other servers to try my server. They said, we need this, that Etc, so i gave it to them.

Make sure your server stays the same combo so it appears in the same place in the list, if it changes from FBM to GTR to BF1 there will be no regulars as they will not find your server first.

Make the server name something simple to remember AND NEVER CHANGE IT.

Another thing to do is to get several people racing on the server all the time so it appears in the FULL list and soon people will join.

If one of my servers is empty, i search out a couple of mates and go and race on it. After a few minutes we will be joined by others.

Finally if the ping is 200+ from Europe and there are 10 servers with a 40 ping in the list why should they join?

!hotlap will give you some details
!hotlaptime will give you the time you need to beat
!hotlapstats will give you your details

Each time you beat a hotlap time you score a point

Points are at the top of the screen

To get another point either beat your current PB or choose another car or combo
