Russia only signed the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact to buy time, because at the time the soviet army just was not ready for war and needed time to prepare.
And the modern Russia deploying missiles to Poland. Well, it has nothing to do with Obama being elected that is absurd idea. That missile shield, and the Russian counter missile deployment has been going on for a while, way back when Putin was still on charge. Russia is stretching it's powers to it's nearby neighbours with it's oil money. US showed the example that you can do whatever you like and the international community can't do anything. Russia attacking Gearogia was a good example, of course they've had their own war "on terrorism", which has been used as excuse just like US. It's scary how close US and Russia politics actually are (I hope it ends) and funny how Russia is mostly considered to be the evil one, when body count with US is higher.
The communist leader Obama is also a funny concept. Do you even know what communism is? Sosial-democrat might be the right world for Obama, because that what the changes you think he makes sound like. Ok, it's on the left, but it's far away from communism. Their idea is to support the workers and the middle classes, the major part of the populus. Don't confuse it to communists though, well, you already did but don't. Funny how some people still think evererything slightly left is evil. But I guess, to be fair, there is almost the same amount of people who think enything right is the work of a devil. Which is why your political system isn't really that smart.
edit: Well, all I got to say is LOL for the market drop Obama made. What a bastard he is...sigh
edit2.
Yes, I think I was being overly optimistic about that. But I still like what you did with the fat there.
Now that you have a president which really seems like a smart bloke, it makes the rest of you look much better. Maybe all Americans are not so bad idiots after all. Maybe teh internets and rest of the world will stop treating you like retards now.
Can't really see why would a civilian need an automatic weapon? I mean, automatic is useless if you are trying to hit anything. I can see the collectors point of view, but if they just collect the guns they just might get them deactivated or to have it made to semi-auto only, which in case of AK is possible. It hardly makes them any less dangerous though.
And of course, owning an automatic is just about being cool.
Pfff...wimp. I'd say it's down to several layers of clothes. First a very thin undergarment that will absord the moisture to next layer which is more thicker insulating layer and after that a layer that keeps the wind cooling you down. Then something to cover your head and ears and nose. Hood in your wind resistant jacket is also very handy. For hands avoid normal gloves because they will leave your fingers separate and cold. I found thick leather gloves with fur inside with two pairs of mittens over them the best, sometimes too warm actually.
Used to do my school trip with bike, really didn't matter weather it was. Of course, it was only like 2 km. But nothing could really keep me from taking the bike at winter time because almost in any conditions it was twice faster than walking. Only things making me walk was if there had been snowing really heavy snow at the night so the roads were knee deep in snow so the tires coudn't actually turn, or if the bike was so frozen it didn't work somehow. Usually didn't have much brakes anyway, but hardly any use when the tires just lock up, if it's not cold (under -12 C) when the snowy roads usually come really sticky. But then you are not going to do that fast anyway because it gets so cold in speed.
If you are planning winter biking, for experience I'd recommend a simple bike. Anything will work, if you keep it dry and bring it inside every now and then. Leaving in to a good gear over night is also a good idea, because waking up late in the morning in a hurry having only the second lowest gear you have sucks.
It's not that fast like in summer, but beats walking.
Can agree with that, when sitting on the top of the front axle you jump up and down when driving in to a small pothole. I can imagine that sort of car being more comfortable on a long run if the size of the thing is not a problem. Closest what I've driven to something like that is a Kraz 255, which is an soviet rip-off of some American WWII military truck. It has a long nose, ride is quite smooth actually, but at intersections with bad visibility that kind of car would be a pain. You'd had to bring it on the road with no idea if there is anyone coming, I'd hate to do that.
I'd say different trucks for different conditions and purposes.
That is actually quite close what the best Scania engines do. Can you post some more names of these trucks or so, could be interesting to learn more.
Forgot many European trucks use Cummins engines. Which are American, and one of the best there are.
By the way, what is the maxinum allowed weight and the length for a truck over there?
Yeah, but of course the funny thing is most of the merican trucks suck in the power department. And top line Europeans engines have incredible amount of power and torque.
Europeans try not to waste much length, so they can have more cargo. Fuel is expensive so you want to use every meter you are allowed to have on the road.
Yes, but just look at the graph. It topped over 140 dollars per barrel at the summer, I said it already, it's cheaper than it has been in over a year! It doesn't instantly show at the local fuel station, but it's starting to. Of course, dollar is now stronger than few months back, so it could also make fuel a bit more expensive for us Europeans.
Point is, you really don't have a reason to worry. Running around like that, thinking that the world is going to end is one of the reasons we are going in to a recession at the moment.
IR is challenging and hard, LFS could almost be titled as arcade in comparison. Biggest fail is the fact you can't have your own races, but maybe that will be fixed in the future.
