My friend just finished making me my new site (link in sig) and since hes not going to charge me im going to buy him S2. Im just wondering if I can buy another License through my account or do he have to create a account then I log in and buy it under his account?

The 6800 would be a better video card then the 7600. Check out this site for comparing video cards.

Oh ok, then my guess would be Video Card.

But still I would see if its possible to get a friends video card and ram just to test and see which gives you better performance.

But I think you would see better performace with upgrading to a GOOD video card 6600Gt or higher.

Then if it still does not work try connecting without Router and see if you still have the same problem or not. If you dont then it could be that the router could be on its way out.

If you still have the same problem then I would be looking at your network card. Reinstall drivers and so on.

Dont start throwing parts at a problem if you dont know 100% whats causing it.

You say when you start a new race the game will freeze/pause?? What do you have to do to get the game to run? Restart or does it just lag?

Is it possible for you to get another better videocard & even ram to test each in your system to see which one helps you more? That would be the smart thing to do then you could see what helps more instead of wasting $$

Cpu - Currently The Intel Conroe is the faster cpu (at least for now)

But another thing, I dont think you actually need 4gb of ram, I think that may be overkill. I would say 1gb would be good enough then in a year or something if u need the extra ram add some more. but 2gb would be enough for you. even if your doing the video editing.

Also might not be worth to get 2 SLI cards now. Might be better to get a higher model SLI card then in a card when you need more power add another one which will probably be half the price by then.

Also make sure you got a good quality powersupply to handle SLI if u get it. OCZ make Very good ps's & 5 year warrenty.

You should not put your Screen Refresh rate (Hertz) higher then 80. I keep mine around 70-75. Just because the higher you go the more strain is on the monitor so then it will not last as long etc etc. So putting it at 100hertz is not very good for the monitor.

As for your problem, Download the lastest drivers for your video card from the Nvidia website. Also reinstall/update Direct X. You can also try Windows Updates.

First person to finish the course up and down + 1 Pit wins.

Not sure if this has been sugested BUT, we shoul have a Fuel Gage IN the car thats big enough so we can see and think to ourself....hey....maybe I should get some Gas?

Because right now only way for me to see how much fuel i have is to change to an outside view that showes me how much I have. When I drive from the in car view. I'm as far back as possible because then I have a greater field of view and can see if there is a car beside me and such but because of this I cant read the gauges.

So I think this would need to be improved some how...

Just wondering how a lot of you guys render those pictures from LFS to make it look 3d etc? Im guessing your using a program like 3D Max or similar?

Also is it just clicking a button and it renders it or do you have to add effects and so on to do it?
