Also try this,

Picture 1:

- Change to Low Res & Everything on Main (instead of + Mirror like mine)
- Full Size Textures = No
- Car & Helmet Skins = Compressed
- At the bottom if you what I have about Vertex Shadings that that OFF

Picture 2:

- Limit Frame Rate In Game = YES
- Maximum Frame Rate = Try 50 FPS for your computer

ok good at least we are getting somewhere now. Have you tried changing the Resolution to something lower? With that video card you should not be running higher then 1024x.... & might even be better to run around 800x600 if u can.

Right Click Desktop>Properties>Settings Tab>Advanced>Then click the Nvidia Tab>Looks for settings in there to do with AA etc.

I'm currently running an ATI Video card so I dont know the exact area for those settings.

Make sure you got all your AA/AF settings on LOW/OFF.

Also not sure if that video card has a fan or not I cant remember but make sure the fan/heatsink is clean from dust.

Another thing to try is Update your motherboard drivers to the latest from the manufacture website.

Also try lowering the Resolution your playing LFS in.

Your problem has to do with the Video Card, it should not be that low but still.

Have you updated the drivers for your Video Card? Chipset also?
Do you know what motherboard you have?

Try these drivers for your video card, hopefully this will help with your problem. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html

Also when playing LFS make sure to close all programs other then LFS see if it helps.

Turn off the computer make sure the cd-rom is plugged in properly and turn it back on. If Windows does not see the cd-rom then try it in another computer if possible. Also check the bios to see if the bios sees the cd-rom.

If the bios does not see the cd-rom and assuming everything is plugged in correctly then it looks like the cd-rom is dead. Also try different IDE cables and make sure the jumpers are set correctly

As most of you have heard about Microsofts New Operating System "Windows Vista" I thought I would pass along some important info you might be interested in that should make you think before upgrading to vista.
