I'd assume keep the tires flat so you're not rubbing a single edge raw, and be as smooth as possible. Keep high pressure in the tires so they're reducing friction also might help,
So what aroX is saying is that just because the original founders meant it to be racing, means it better be racing ONLY? Come on - in that case, we probably would still be using the wheel on stick-made buggies and towing them by hand. Seriously, it's not going to kill anything.
Off-Topic: I'm wondering why you guys have such a hard time with the whole drift/cruise, but the guys over at Forza embrace the new trends and gladly try it.. here it's like the Crusades?
Perhaps if you look at it as making topics for Racing, Cruising, and Drifting instead of Racers, Cruisers, and Drifters? Different categories that could be used to talk about techniques and the like would be nice - it gets cramped away. It would also keep this forum from looking like a Mexican Gang War in Los Angeles.
Some, they'll use a variety of gears. But regardless, it'd be a nice change to be able to shed a little bit of weight for a little more 'oomph' on the smaller tracks - agreed?
I don't think it's too fair that just a simple switch that they put in a NASCAR game for creeps sake couldn't be implemented for the sake that... you do not need 6 gears on Club or Cadet.
Not too sure, I'd ask a 3D Guru here on the forums.
I'm not too sure if this could fit in with the "new car" idea, but how about being able to switch out transmissions? On any Cadet/Club races I don't need a heavy 6-speed FZ5, but a lighter, 5-speed FZ5 would be just fine.
And why not? Your post made absolutely no sense, if you put an engine that can rev high, sound beautifu, and perform differently than a Inline or V, then why not have it?
I don't take as much offense to this post, the main thing that insulted me is that it's always "Drifters."
Yes, you are right, but I find it offensive that you make it sound like EVERY drifter is the same as the bad eggs - personally I don't enjoy them either.
And yeah, it does suck pretty bad that alot of people that drift do choke their engine like they choke their chicken, but hey, what works works. Like I said before, as long as they don't get in the way - no biggie. And I think what they mainly meant was a limiter that did this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fgm0ZTRCKr8
Something that gives you a sense that it isn't just a dead end.
I take offense to that, that was only a misunderstanding and you shouldn't be getting so feisty. I don't see where you're getting all this mumbo jumbo, some may sit there at 60 miles per hour bouncing the redline in 3rd for a smoke show, or because... hmh, shifting mid-slide might kinda FREAK with the whole thing? I personally don't, I adjust my gears so I can hold a slide at around 4-5K RPM's, I don't sit there and strangle my engine. I'm not missing -anything- here, I like to race and drift, and sometimes I mix them up for some fun. But whatever, if somebody does it and they don't get in my way, I'm fine and dandy - so what's your big problem with it besides being on a constant Crusade against drifting?

Reason : Removed the word serious from the beginning, it wasn't that offensive. :P
