Maintenance - Billing unreachable
Hello, there seems to be a problem with our host, which is the reason as for why our website ( for orders ) is unreachable. The issue has been reported this morning at 07.30 AM, and since then we're investigating the cause of this problem.
You can still access our main website www.rackservice.org , the servers are also operational however there is no possibility to place a order neither to access your billing area.
We hope that our host fixes this issue as soon as possible, we'll keep you updated.

New Website!
We are happy to announce that we've released our new website! Our new website has now a Home, instead of going directly to the "Orders" page. The website is still www.rackservice.org , however, the design and logo(s) are completly different. This gives a brand new look, we can almost call it "RackService 2.0" , our best version since years.
We were looking for a website who was easier to understand for our customers, and we think we achieved it. Our customers are also able to login directly to their client area using the main page, there's no need to visit a different page in order to login now. Orders are now directly processed, so, by clicking "15 slots" you order 15 slots and configure the product before checkout.
We hope you like our website, it's not finished yet as we plan to release more features soon.

You should really fix the "online racing activity" tab, avoiding hosts from spamming on it. Some demo guys are having fun with it.
Add a cooldown for each server, to avoid that spam.

Looks pretty good! Would be a good one too if you implement lfsworld into here. That will give it even a newer look. Keep up the good work!

Of course its instantly. Its some small lagg spikes which start filling the buffer till it colapses. When it colapses it doesnt mean you were lagging in that exactly moment, but the error made you lose the connection from the server.
I have had this in the past and the only solution I found is reboot the router
Hello, this happens when your connection is unstable and you are slowly timing out from the server, let me write here the explanation one guy gave on other forums.

There is no official explanation on this matter but from what I've heard over the years, when lfs saves the replay to disk, it saves the remote data and the local data in a chronological stream. If the remote stream fails to work (lag or other networking issues), it can't combine both streams any more.
Since there is always some delay over network, there exists some little buffer, that's what I think, is the so called "stash space". So the local data waits in that stash space until the matching data over network has arrived (with matching timestamp or whatever).
However, you can see, if the network gets worse, more and more local data gets into the buffer, waiting for it's remote counterpart. But at some point, the buffer is full, and the whole system collapses.

Quite pointless comment. Asking for help and then threating by saying that you're going back to play iRacing. This was from far just your fault. So dont blame LFS for something you've done.

I checked your configuration and it has wind enabled.
Stop your server and modify the lines at setup.cfg:
// 0=no/1=low/2=high
/wind=1
Modify it so that it says /wind=0
// 0=no/1=low/2=high
[B]/wind=0[/B]
Then, save the changes, start your server and the wind will be disabled.

Website Recovered
Hello,
We've recovered our website and should be working again. Please note that the hosting is on a diferent provider and therefore it may take some hours till everything is working for everyone. So far the database has been restored, invoices orders.... Clients can now login again with the same logins they had before this happend.

You sent us an email about it yesterday, however, we're sorry for this issue.
The server was down cause you changed the setup.cfg with the wrong values. If you check at the deb.log file ( when the server does not work for some reason ) then you'll be able to see what's wrong with it. If the panel is accesible and your server is not working, it's not releated to us but to something in your configuration.

This is the content of your deb.log file. This means you configured wrongly the weather of the server.
Value "0" does not exist, therefore, the server did not work. We've changed it back to 1, so the server is up and running again.
