It must be strange when you really get used to one particular f1 car, on the limit most of the time, then have to step into something that will have different brakes, aero, engine, suspension setups, and the added weight and gubbins that are involved with the kers system, and probabaly countless other differences in the way the car feels and drives.
Fisi's booboo in practice 3 was funny though, anthony davidson was commentating and said something like "i think fisi was distracted by the tifosi, then released ''whoops, here's a corner, oh no here's a wall *bang*''
I'd rather be able to play it before release, like nearly every other game, and then be able to buy it on release day after i've realised how awesome it is.
Suppose i could always "try" the full game on release like bose is hinting at
I don't think he went to ferrari for winning, he might of hoped he may get a win or two, but i think it's solely down to the fact that he wanted to experience being a part of the ferrari team.
The name alone stands for so much, hell he probably dreamt of racing for ferrari since he was like 4yrs old - he probably still has loads of ferrari posters on the wall
Pity about the grid girl standing in the middle of the car though hahaha
Physics wise looks very similar to the Race series, which in general isn't really the worst sim around is it? There's to many video's around of people playing on gamepads at shows, that and the fact there's alot of people who just slam the throttle down and close their eyes
I'd really of liked a demo to make my own mind up aswell though, pretty shit that it looks like there won't be one.
Rossi wasn't on the pace all weekend, don't think it really had anything to do with lorenzo getting into his head The wide line leading into that corner didn't help him, seemed like the bike had both wheels off the ground as he braked due to the bumps. Very bland track anyway imo, roll on misano
Tech3 would be crazy to ditch edwards aswell and keep toseland, fair eough they might not want two americans, but i fail to see the logic in keeping an under performing rider like toseland when edwards is consistantly better on equal machinery. . .
I'm guessing the blur of the car is so that people playing will start to look at the track more, and corners/apexes - might lead to a few people being better players
My *iracing not included was a jibe at how expensive it is, seems people have taken the way i wrote it the wrong way I can see why when looking back at my post.
I also didn't state iracing was new, imaginitive or inspired, only it wasn't affordable
