All confirmations should include the team name, not the nation you're from. Thanks to the wonders of copy and paste the example was wrong, but I'll let it slide if you don't come round to changing your confirmation for this round.

A correct confirmation therefor looks like this:

07, Dominik Engel, Deutschland2007, Genuine Racing

Hello racers!

You can find the 2013 Genuine Racing Grand Touring Masters here.

It's a document with roughly 12 pages, mostly explaining all procedures and which penalties may be given for incidents and violations of various rules. The series administration reserves the right to edit the document at any time should we feel it is necessary.

If you find any errors of spelling, numbering, or loopholes in the rules, please let me know.

Post your skins for the 2013 Genuine Racing Grand Touring Masters. The requirements are:

Quote from GTM 2013 Rulebook Section F.1 :1. All car skins must display the required numberboards on both sides between the wheels and the bonnet/hood of the car as well as the provided sunstrip.
1.1) Any drivers who use skins which do not comply with the previous rule will be penalised with a two point penalty in a race session.
1.2) Skins must also be compliant with the skin regulations on lfsworld.net, meaning that they must not include any nudity, pornographic, racist or any other extremely offensive content. Any driver who's found to be using a skin that's violating these rules will be put on probation for the remainder of the season, or be excluded if necessary.

Note: Drivers with single digit car numbers (number 1 to 9) are not required to use double digit numbers on their numberboards (for example: 1 instead of 01).

Announcing the Genuine Racing GT Masters 2013!

OVERVIEW

The Genuine Racing Grand Touring Masters returns for this year, with the same distance-limited race format that already proved to be successful in 2012. The main change will be the cars being used this season. For the first time we will utilise GT2-spec cars in one of our series to enhance the level of competition even more while at the same time making it easier for newcomers to join the series. Just like last year all races will be distance limited to either 250 or 300 kilometres with a single-file flying start getting them under way. All driver's are also required to race alone, there will be no driver changes in any of the races, which provides another challenge which is to drive mistake-free for almost two hours in a row. As in the in the first season, we will be looking for both, a driver's and a team's champion, with the two highest-placed cars of each team scoring points towards that championship in each event.

The series will also use our usual qualifying format, with a 24h-long session starting on the Friday before the race at 19:00 UTC and ending 24 hours later.

Yup, it will be like that. Unintentional small ones you can get away with, anything we deem to be intentional will result in a penalty, but that doesn't mean that unintentionally wiping half the field out won't!

And to clear up the SC situation more, there are so many leagues these days that utilise SC's, so we chose to be different and not use them, just like in the good old days. :P

Quote from Garazion :Didnt see it in the rules, probably too late for this years trophy, but perhaps implement a safety car for next year, cars that actually crash should let there car crash and not spectate mid-crash as you cant do that in real life, and if they are unable to move/continue a safety car should then get deployed to remove the car off the track where they can then spectate?

Just an idea i thought about

We do not plan to implement safety cars, neither this or next season, we want to keep it as simple as possible.

Quote from CodeLyoko1 :also, Bumpdrafting is allowed? And tiny contacts?

Bumpdrafting is strictly forbidden and drivers may be penalised for doing it (Rule U.3). And we generally don't want any contacts, small ones might be tolerated, but anything more significant can lead to penalties.

With one round to go in the 2013 Genuine Racing GT1 Challenge, one thing is sure: The season has broken many records. Since its announcement in early November 2012, we have received over 100 sign-ups, almost as many as the 2012 season and the inaugural Grand Touring Masters season put together! Once the season got under way the record breaking form continued with over 50 cars trying to qualify for the first race at Aston Historic and a healthy amount of cars in all races so far. In the six previous rounds we have witnessed some fantastic racing throughout the field, whether it was for first or for the final few positions, it was usually hard but fair.

But what did the six previous rounds give us? Well, first of all they got us our first ever GT1 Challenge Team's Champion in the form of the Italian due of Max Norris and Michele Campini, both of which showed remarkable speed and consistency from the very first race onwards making them team's champions with one round to go.

However, nothing is decided in the driver's championship yet! After winning rounds five and six, Nikifor Dakovic of Ixion Simsports is only 38 points behind our current championship leader Max Norris, and with 55 points there for the taking, the championship could go either way. Should Niki score maximum points, Max needs to finish at least 14th should he not already have received points from qualifying. And eventhough that scenario seems unlikely, it's actually very similar to what almost happened to 2012 champion Dennis Lind, on the same track and in the same week in April.

So make sure you watch this place, the title decision will be made in this weekend's event! Qualifying will start on Friday, the 19th of April at 20:00 UTC and will end 24 hours later on the 20th of April at 20:00 UTC. The race will start at 18:00 UTC on Sunday. Sign-ups are still open until the start of qualifying, so if you feel the need for a GTR sprint race, feel free to join in.

Quote from Degats :"N.6
... For these incidents the same procedure as described in Rule M.1.1 will be applied."

Presumably this should be "N.1.1"?

Yes it should be, just a small mistake. I will fix it when I get a chance to do so.
