So, after the recent rulebook updates it won't be long until the 2013 GenR GT1 Challenge is under way! We already have already received 33 sign-ups for Round 1 at Aston Historic, one of the fastest tracks on the season schedule, which is just two weeks away from now.
Sign-ups for the first race will be open until 23:59 UTC on the Saturday before the race. Feel free to join.
Race broadcast will start around 17:50 UTC on Saturday, Commentary by Chris Wilkinson and others. We'll have interviews, and you can ask us (relevant) questions to answer on air in the #ndr channel on irc.gamesurge.net or here in the broadcast thread.
The race will start at 18:00 UTC, which means you have to be on the server by 17:50 UTC. I simply made a mistake in the PM getting mixed up with timezones and trying to get them out quickly.

#16 - Incorrect skin (Am class plates on sides and no plate on bonnet) - loss of fastest lap
#55 - Incorrect numberplate ("CRT AM") - loss of fastest lap
#69 - Incorrect numberplate (blank) - loss of fastest lap
I doubt anyone will want to buy or invest in a team that has next to no chance of improving in the near future and hasn't even got a design department anymore.
The font used for the plates is Arial Bold (in bold), which from my knowledge should be a standard font. If for some reason you don't happen to have it it's downloadable here -> http://www.fontyukle.net/en/Arial+Bold.ttf
The FIA GT1 World Championship might be gone, but the Genuine Racing GT1 Challenge returns for its 2nd season of GTR sprint racing with 7 events visiting a number of very diverse tracks over the course of its season. To ensure all cars have an equal chance in the championship the FZR has been performance balanced to be more equal with the other 2 cars available. As in the previous season the league will consist of seven 1 hour long races with a single-file flying start and a mandatory pitstop. There will be a driver's championship and, as promised after the Round 2 of last season, also a team's championship going along with it.
In comparison to the last GT1 Challenge season, qualifying now only takes place over a 24h period, from Friday to Saturday with the Race following on Sunday.
All LFS drivers and teams are welcome enter the league. Any team may enter any number of cars, there is no limit on the number of drivers a team can have, but only the 2 highest finishing drivers score towards the team championship.
