Can someone please give me a guide to install this? I dont really know what to do, the doc came with it is not very self explainatory. I cant run the LFSRelax.exe.

I am also wondering, will there be a smoke mod for X patch or later?? Kegety seems sick of updating his mods for frequently released new patches....

Smoke mod was mad, please bring it back, the old versions dont work with X patch, my frame rate drops from 100 to 3....

@ M.Catamount, to get rid off those text, find ur Drift.cfg file in ur main LFS folder, then open it, change

Drift_Text_Enabled=0, and
GMeter_Text_Enabled=0

thats all. It made HUGE fps difference to me! but i prefer the angle text to be on, but it cost me liek 20fps, I dont like that!

The frame rate drops to about 45 fps from my original 140 fps. Not happy with choppy game play!! Any chance of improving that bit??

I personally see it as a racing challenge. Try to pass him, if not, learn his moves and pass later. If he slows me down, so what, I drive defensively now, again, a racing challenge. We are all here for fun, no need to make other ppl swear at u.

Also, if he is bit reluctante after a while, I will use the horn and flash my light, thats what they are in the game for....Not that I use them often...

Hi Scawen, can u please make the tyres cool down bit quicker? I think with the speed of the cars going down a straight, AND the rotational speed of the tyres, they should cool down bit quicker than it is now.

Also, with the F9 feature, we only have dirt, sectional Force, and sectional temperature indicators. Can u please add a other feature for sectional tyre wear(amount of rubber left on the tyre)? Eg. put another set of numbers or coloured bars above the force indicators or something?

At the moment, we can overheat the tyres and loose grip, but it takes a while for them too cool down (too slow i think), and meanwhile we dont now how much rubber is left all the time. We can pop the tyres but wheather it's due to excessive air temp or actual rubber is worn through is unclear to me. Thanx.

I highly don't recommend inducing compression surge!!

It can cause turbine shaft to snap off! Especially at high boost throttle lift offs. If your bro is ready for a new turbo, and possible engine reco due to broken bits get sucked into the engine, then go ahead and make it sound cool, but, realisticly, dont do it man!

Apart from muffled sounds, ESPECIALLY tyre scrubbing sounds, everything else is very well done!!!

The upgrades in the menu system is great. Nicer fonts and more intuative button asssignment system. The track selection page is very good!

However, I am very disapointed with the new sounds. All cars sound way too muffled, and very similar. Unlike in U patch or earlier, they are different, and very crisp, lots of treble that is. The U32 sounds lack so much treble, what is wrong? I can't even hear my tyres screeching properly now with MAX tyre scrubbing volume.

I hope it will be all sorted in the sound department and keep them as crisp as in U patch I recon. Different eng. sound is surely welcome, but has to be on a higher sampling rate. 44,000Hz, not lower or something like that.

I agree with the previous post, I dont like the new sounds either, they are WAY too muffled, unlike the previous versions', very clear and lots of treble. I can't even hear the tyre scrub noise properly...

All the engine sounds are very similar, boring! But other little upgrades like the menu system and fonts etc is great.

I found this out after I got my Logitech G25. With "Down shift auto throttle blip", I notice that the car also blips the throttle when I upshift as well, which is useless and annoying. I really would like to see this bug fixed. Thanks!

well, thanks any way. I was hoping to see a 1280 X 1024 render, so I can use it for my windows b'ground. A render with two FZ5s in it, both on 45 degrees or somthing, so u can see the front, the side and the rear of the skin, if you know what I mean....thanx any way.

there is no EASY set for XRR drifting. coz it is a very hard car to drift due to its slicks, suspension etc. You have to use dynamic drift style a lot and take it easy with the gas when sliding, and MORE practice. Here is my set. Practice, mod it to your drift style, more practice, and you will be skilled.

Thank you Maggot for clearing it up. Some people have been pointing the finger at me for using a skin that is posted here.

Now I can say to them, check this thread. hahahaha! COP THAT!! It is permitted...well, for the skin I was using any way, because it didn't say "this is a team/private skin" etc, and some authors even say, "enjoy" or "free to use on LFS" on the skin file.
