BMW Team RLL retains the lead at long beach again. Photos in the link which I've found after some facebooking.

Very tasty shots, though.

Tried the GT3's again. Got some +'s, finally.

It really depends against which people your driving. Had some good and soft fights and made profit of a lot of mistakes. Being on attack just does everything worse in iR, imo.
I really like Zolder, especially with the MP4 than with the RUF. Started from 12th and could managed to 6th in the end with only 1 inc because of this curb which is apparently offtrack.

But again, enough people spinning and wrecking into each others asses.
You just have to be lucky being on the right position at the right time to be not involved.

Quote from Bmxtwins :That car baffles me.

Races with noobs using this car baffling races.
Otherwise I had really good races in the Skippy, especially on Montreal and LRP. Since you don't get in high SOF fields you can claim good points there.

Quote from Töki (HUN) :Yes, I still need to find out how to react to incidents like a guy totally missing the braking point and raping me in the ass while fighting for the win.

Of course, racing incidents happen, no probs with that, but these hilariously stupid ones seem to be haunting me. ALL THE DAMN TIME. I'm just the bad luck brian of iRacing, I guess. Well, I was.

You're not the only one, happend to me everytime I'm braking for turns, also Roland.
I can't hear people saying "why u braking so early" anymore as I'm 1 secs faster in laptimes and braking as anyone other in the field.
Spa T1 with V8's, made a vid of the wreck and posted it on the forums - the only help I've got was rage and frustration.

You just can't bother this situation. Just concentrate more on the mirror than on track? I'll always get scared if I'm in a pack where people are not capable to brake earlier because of the cars in front of them.

No, they need their own braking point as in the hotlaps before ofc.

Quote from Kristi :If you are seemingly losing SR, then just go back to MX5, drive a few clean races, which are quite simple, and gain SR.

Yeah, I saw that as I checked my friend status the last days. I guess this is a pretty good idea but I'm still at A 3.4 so I hope to stay there.
I wish to come through the GT3 races coming season. The hype will be ridiculous if the Z4's in the lineup.

Nice bimmers up there.

Quote from Flame CZE :But... those 4 exhausts

I think they fit really well to this model.

Gave it a try since long break in the GT3 series running at Zolder, great train-ride up to lap 4 until one guy spins, no chance to avoid and epic wreck.
Man, if iR would stop punish me with rating caused by others, I would be already at 4.99.

I can't remember I did mistakes by myself, to be honest.

Quote from IsaacPrice :Yes, it's due to the way the diff is in some of the cars in iRacing. Open diff = lift off oversteer, on power understeer. The fastest way in those cars is to control the oversteer with how much throttle you use under braking. I wouldn't really compare it to XRR, it's much more like if you drive a UF1 as that has an open diff.

Yes, it's exactly feels like driving the UF1. So just basically to avoid the lift-off oversteer / power-understeer by giving slight throttle while braking?

Correct me if I'm totally wrong.

Long time ago I drove with the MX5 last time, but I'm surprised about those reallife opinions there Teemu. Nevertheless I just can't handle that car, perfectly...
Does the SRF spinned that way, too? I tested it I guess a year ago and it was kinda undriveable for me back then.

But there's something I recognized in iRacing at my driving-style, it's the braking while doing slight turns, then braking abit harder in the middle of the turn which makes the car always oversteer and spin finally, in most of the iR cars. Happends often to me driving fast turns where slight braking is required.
Happend last time in the RUF Track at Turn 2-3 at Philips Island, I really had to slow down pretty much for avoiding spinning which caused people wrecking my rear in the mid of the corner because going so slow. What I'm doing wrong?

Quote from MousemanLV :I bought the game for 1 month...I think it was 12 dollars, right? I sadly regret it. The MX5 handled like a bloody Reliant Robin, although it didn't exactly barrel roll for most of it's experience...more like had the will to spin in every single turn or suddenly have no grip in the front tires. It also had something magical about it...I mean, I was racing the other day when some guy on a straight away decided to just..ram me! Perhaps the MX5 truly has something unique about it!..

Too bad iR scaring off so much people with this poor rookie content.

I don't really like the MX5 either, it's just spinning without reasons aswell as the Formula Mazda in C Class.
Apart from the races in rookie class & the safety rating iRacing making new customers ragequit and stop touching this sim because of this.

Had this experience exactly in the same way as you mate, but kinda could continue racing and reach higher classes where racing is really fun, especially with the better cars in their virtual garage.

Well I thought I've heard that those noses are safer for collision improvement, but as it looks like this "currywurscht-fork" of Lotus making things maybe flip. (jk)

Glad Gutierrez came out of this without any injury and no, Gutierrez didn't do anything wrong, did he?

I'm in for anything new sort of as it is solid planned and run.
Hard to say to organize new stuff, but I would suggest short calendars and combos which are special but not too overdone.

Pity I enjoyed too less of MiniFBM and Super GT.

Man, I loved Super GT.
