I have just been able to have an online race....OMG a lot of waiting around, but much to my surprise.....I didn't get spanked :jawdrop:

I was actually competitive...The start was hilarioius, but once it settled down, this is actually really good. The netcode is smooth ( although I was getting 23ms ping to server ) and I really enjoyed it.

Now I would love to drive with my fellow LFS's.

Also, I noticed alot of you have the red dials, not the default AC ones, what app is that? Also is there a was to display race info on screen, laps left etc etc, just until I get used to things.

I was only going to put a 16 slot to start with, as we still don't know how many packets per car is required ( LFS 1 - AC 0) on that one LOL although I did ask, and got told to install Wireshark

I know Ant, yesterday was just so frustrating. First of all I had the D3DComplier error which I have never seen before, that was in single player, then trying to get on a server, that was just a headache.....

Yeah cheers PMD, but as that dated back to April and I didn't see the same problem....for some reason, and I don't know why, but downloaded the DX9 runtime http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35 and rebooted 3 times, and it seems to be fixed

As a lover of UK tracks, this WIP is out and I have tried it. Its actually very good. No GFX around the track as yet and there is no pitlane, you start on the grass, but the track is totally driveable. I tested with the E30

Looking forward to this release.

What I like about this as well, is this guy is learning how to model, and has done this from scratch

Well I would like to sell my triple screens as I would like to purchase a HDMI 32" screen.

the 19" Samsung was used by my lad on his xbox360, and the new Xbox one doesn't have a VGA connector/adaptor anymore

And the Acer was kept as a spare, just in case ( you never know LOL)

Ok you will ask how did I come about these items, again a fair question. I work in IT in upgrade's and these items, believe it or not was heading for the bin/recycling so I salvaged them, as we install higher res monitors on our installs

Hi All,

I thought I would offer it here first, to see if anybody FROM THE UK ( to keep costs down ) wanted.

I have 3 x AOC 20" LED's for sale ( you don't need software, as Windows 7 detects them)
Only VGA ports on them ( you can run a DVI convertor )
fully working and inmac condition
Run at a res of 1600 x 900 60hz each

Have tested the following using Softh and onboard Intel GFX card ( my GFX card had HDMI also so had to use onboard as 3rd screen) but if you know Softth, the 3rd screen can be really low powered.

HL2 ( all Episode's)
GTL
GTR2

I have photo's on LFS forum, you can see them here and if you want more, you only need to ask..

I was looking for £150 for ALL Three of them including all cables which I think is a bargin
