The control panel will still be accessable for all other servers, at times during the maintainence the Game Servers page may take longer to load (upto 40 seconds), Although this will only happen if you have servers on the machine with the ip: 81.19.209.208 People without servers on that ip will not be affected.

I informed EQ Worry a few days ago about the problem and he ack'd it.. No fix yet though. He seems busy.

Might downgrade if more racers get affected (I already had some personal messages about this problem from other racers already too).

Your server may be on version "Z" instead of "Z28", Please try updating your server to z28 using the "game updates" button on the control panel. if the problem persists please create a support ticket.

Nobody actually reported a JooS error to me, But it does sound related to the issues from yesterday.

I'll send out an e-mail advising to restart the server if anybody is still experiencing this error.

Hi Ghostrider, In order for the server to be listed as a cruise server you need to add:

/cruise=yes

to the servers setup.cfg

I have now added this for you and saved the file, so next time you restart the server it will appear as a cruise server.

If you have not already can you open a support ticket so i can investigate, The 208 box should be working fine now...

So you would like to make slanderous remarks about 500servers but are not willing to actually use the support methods available to you for whatever issue it is you are having.

I just do not get it., Every host has their problems, I accept 500servers has had alot of issues this year, but im not sure where you are seeing issues with support tickets, All but 1 of your tickets from the past have had a reply to them.

I think i can see the issue, Working on it now,

whoops, looks like my previous thoughts were not entirel accurate, I thought the cheat protection had been updated to stop people using modified .exe's who in "some" cases were still able to connect to normal servers, Seems i mis-read the situation. My bad.

If an .EXE is modified and is used to race against other people who have unmodified .exe 's Then Ok maybe "cheating" is too strong a word for it, But the fact that it would be "possible" to do is wrong.

So ok, Perhaps not cheating in that sense.

The idea of modified .exe's that have been approved is that those .exe's should only work on servers running the same modifications, Obviously that has not been the case (even though that was the intention) and this seems to have been rectified today.

Although i was looking for USA Based individuals to do the tests, All tests from any locations are valid, The pings seem reasonable to me, The bit thats giving me some pause for thought is the preety large number of hops that seem to be required even once inside the network.

Any thoughts on that? are the numbers above "normal" for people based in the US / Canada / South America?

People have been asking about USA Based servers, Before we go final on it i was hoping to get some people from over the pond to do some network tests / go on the server check for latency issues for me,

Currently have 3 Servers online in LFS: 500Servers USA, 500Servers USA 2, 500Servers USA 3

Server IP: 184.82.156.138

This is a cheapo rental from Burstnet located in PA, If the networking is as solid like the reports i've had so far, then i'll go ahead and place an order for some proper machines from them,

If the reports are "not so good" then I'll be looking for an alternative US Based partner.

If people can do Pingtests for me that would also be appreciated.

EDIT: looks like the stig was on "underground cruise" which had a config error, The admin of that server has just done a re-install and i have advised him of what the error was so it should be up for you again in a moment stig.

EDIT: Have had reports that some of the servers on the machine this morning have not auto-restarted, To solve this simply login to your CP and press the "start" button.

Looks like the system got frozen up, Performing some windows updates and rebooting the machine now.

Hi Skywatcher,

All i can tell you is that it is a suspended account that for some reason has not automatically suspended the game server.

I'm actually doing an audit today and it will be turned off soon.
