Where do you get that? i cannot find that error on the control panel from CHTI, as far as i can see all files are present and correct and the server appears online.

If he goes to his control panel and goes to his server page he can edit the server settings in one of 2 ways, first way is to do it with the direct file editor (straight into the config file).

the second way is the better way for new users to the dedicated server. It is a form style editor with some basic explinations of each feature.

to use this he should go to:

Gameservers >>> Default Config Files (Pic 1) >>>> Config Editor (Pic 2) and then change the options from that page (Pic 3). After making changes go back to the gameservers page and restart the server.

This was simply an update on the Control panel, It gets done every week, usually nobody notices

EDIT: Although the CP may be slow for a little while as it's actually running some windows cleanup tools (defrag etc).

just a quick update, I could not get out to the DC yesterday but i am just about to leave now to get this sorted, I have also thought of a solution to prevent this sort of downtime from being an issue in the future. Will update you when i get back.

Sorry about all of this, After my last reply here on Friday night i ended up enjoying a 3 day stint in hospital, I was supposed to be coming out this afternoon but was only discharged at 9 o'clock this evening.

When i replied on friday i alsk asked the NOC to look into the issue and get it fixed, Looks like they fixed one thing and broke another!. Now i have sent in another request and if its not fixed by the morning i'll take myself down there and give them what for! (a thrashing for those outside the UK). Then get it sorted.

I have updated everybodys account with some credit for the downtime (anybody on a month-month package has been credited with 1 months worth of credit, those with annual have been credited 2 months).

Anybody who wants to request additional credit who are on the .144 server can do so after it is back online via a billing system support ticket (when everything is back online i will get the full details out there for you). For annual customers who may have decided not to renew, please also send in a ticket and i will convert the credit balance into a 2 month extension of service for you.

I can confirm TCAdmin is online, the webserver is online and the .141 server is online, the only remaining issue is with the .144 server

As soon as i know more details on why this has happened, i'll let you know.I won't be responding to individual tickets about this just yet, as this is all the information i have. I will however copy this information in this post to an e-mail to everybody.

Sorry guys, Have been battling the flu the last few days, Not been online other than e-mails on my phone, Did not even know things were down until somebody sent me a PM and there was an e-mail on my phone about it when i woke up.

I will try and find out what is going on,

Paul means that the 500servers.com domain has expired, That's just coincidental to whats going on at the moment, It will be renewed again shortly.

As always i'll make sure there is fair compensation for your downtime, but let me get on to things and get everything up and running again first.

This is a networking error , The .144 server and the .141 server take different routes out of the datacenter, the routing that the .144 server takes is having issues,

We have been informed that the situation is being dealt with and expect full service to resume shortly,

If we receive any more detailed information we will pass it on to you as soon as possible

Just to confirm the 500control.co.uk (control panel) is currently online, however there are confirmed routing issues which will mean that some people will be able to connect to it, and others will not.

It has been reported and we are now waiting on a solution from the peer. Hopefully it will not be too long before it is either fixed or traffic is re-routed.

Just been playing the single player campaign, Not too bad actually, Don't normally bother with single player but this has kept my interest so far.

Just had a quick go on multiplayer, Other than having to use battlelog via the browser (and it not being very good at displaying the server list results) I think it looks alright, Not given me any problems to play, It actually feels a little bit like Medal Of honour mixed with Battlefield.

Loaded, Looks like you had everything in place already, I just typed /axload k34 in the server.

Unfortunately that is something that can happen when a server has vote kick / ban enabled and no admin presence,

I can only suggest either reading the "I got banned" thread (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=49856) or finding an alternative server to race on.

Perhaps the Airio track rotation needs to be set to only load tracks in Open-Config.

unless Airio is running it should not affect it, (is that the case? or does it not allow the axload option at all? or is it just when Airio is running?)
