Wow, the gap from 30th to 1st is absolutely mind boggling. 30th is just .06 slower than the pole

Now my HUD rant is over, I did try AA3 and to be honest, I hated it. Its like the silly truck racing game that got absolutely slated but in FPS form.

This?

Quote from buedi :Judging by what I could read on the news and on other sites in the net (also here), it sounds more like the game is full of bugs because firing the team was planned ahead by the Army / Government. They fired people, didn´t hire new ones and had deadlines no one could fullfil. It looks like the Army wanted to have a "finished" Game ASAP, so they can get rid of all the employees like a pickle on their a*se.

I don´t get the point in releasing a buggy game, just that it´s released. And then 1 Minute later tell the people that you now have your own developers to create games. I´d expect the next game to be buggy as hell two. Development ov AA3 costed to much money, why not finish it properly? But you never understand bureaucracy

And it really doesn´t matter... it was / is a free game and I rarely played it (AA 1 for maybe 1 hour or so). So I don´t really care about the game. But what I don´t like is how they treated the developers.
Also the game has only one purpose. Recruiting young men / women for the Army. Maybe this is why the game is rated 13+. How sick is that? They´re not allowed to see a naked woman, but make them ready for the Army... I should (and will) stop here. It´s getting really OT now, sorry.

Treating employees like that happens all the time in Business and it´s sad that sometimes people are treated like fatstock.

The developers were put under a ton of stress to get the game finished in such a short timespan, and they were underpaid. And a day after release, they were all fired. Also, it's the fault of the Army (the ones pressuring the developers) for not putting the game download on multiple locations such as filefront, rapidshare, etc. This game is used as a recruting (or propaganda) tool, so they cut down on the gore to suit teens near recruting age, which is around 15-17. The U.S. Army admitted to this themselves.

Good racing, but it's evident a few people still need to be sorted before the big event.

Quote from Kid222 :I want race director to reconsider 555's attendance in main race session. I had bad race with him and he's possible danger for others on track. Same stands for 29 and 30 maybe. Please, have look at them.

Really? Where did I make any dangerous moves apart from getting a bit confused where I was on the starting grid?

And yet more disappointment. Knocked out of the race on lap 5 because people refuse to be PATIENT. PATIENCE IS THE KEY TO SURVIVING THIS RACE. I don't know how myself or anyone else could make this clearer.

Quote from Skydiver173 :Regarding Fridays practice session... I want to extend my appoligies to 29 -J. Marsh. I did not expect you there and I'll take the blame for that.

One thing I noticed, no one ever lifts! why? Don't force yourself into a position that will cause a complete disaster. You don't win on the first lap... so hold a straight line and wait for the opportunity to pass on a straight. Passing in the middle of a turn is usually a bad idea. Lift off the throttle and wait. You'll get alot farther.... trust me.

EDIT: one note to remember... you're using R2s, so if you push hard to get position, (not only do you risk a crash) you put extreme wear on the tires. How many times do you want to pit during a race?

TBH I was under you for quite a while. But you have to mess up to get better
