I have seen that site, they seem to claim LFS as their own work, and from my knowledge they are not an official reseller of vouchers. So there is a chance that the site is fraudulent.

Quote from tristancliffe :But only on ovals. Which are crap. And boring. And popularised by less talented drivers in 1950s tech cars supported by dimwits.

Somehow I knew the ignorant oval basher post would come up, but from you of all people? I must be on something. And again, I see no need to use Steam for LFS, it would just add the "Preparing to launch LFS" for an extra 10 seconds before it actually starts.

Quote from mcintyrej :Yeah, I lol'd at the signiture too.

Harjun, your signiture imply's that you've got more skill. For someone who doesn't even know how to overclock a computer without the help of a lot of people, for your personal sake and reputation, I really suggest you remove that signiture.

I'd say he is either suffering from Red Bull withdrawl or he is drinking more than ever

Great work! Downloading right now, though it will take a while as the download speed is a blistering 10 KB/s. I normally get downloads at around 600 KB/s...

LFS replay files are in fact NOT video files, but a bunch of coding that basically tells AI to do everything you and other racers did in a particular race. This is also the reason why replays cannot be reversed.

I use Steam to run games such as HL2, CSS and Garry's Mod, but it is just flat out unnecessary for LFS.

Well, why would you have any use of a police light set made for the RB4 as a demo racer?

Please, don't have everyone use the same avatar and say (person) stole it from (person), it will just lead to a riot (even if this is a joke) and could have avatars removed completely from the forum. So, guys, please go back to your original avatars.

Yeah, what the hell happened to Robby Gordon? He ignored a penalty and got disqualified and then claimed he won the race! That move got him suspended from the Nextel Cup race today.

EDIT: I have nothing to say at this.... http://www.nascar.com/2007/new ... brose.montreal/index.html

Looks like driver B didn't even look at his mirrors and turned right into the XFG at the corner, when the xfg was a bit ahead of the xrg.

I really don't think LFS should ever be open for modding. There is a 99% chance that it will fall apart like rFactor and end up with hardly any players. We couldn't have a feature like in Garry's Mod that downloads maps and tools as you join a server (cars and tracks in LFS's case) because cars and tracks are generally much larger than what you would see in other games (Gmod maps are relatively small, with the biggest ones being around 30 mb). I would expect to see decent LFS mods going around at ~100-500 mb. The biggest and most annoying mod I have ever downloaded was the NROS NASCAR mod for rFactor. The entire package came to be about 1.3 gigs and i had do download all the tracks and updates seperately. People wouldnt want to waste their time doing that just to race on a server wouldn't they?

To add to what Gunn said, you can drift the FXR somewhat easily, i dont know about the XRR, but im telling you right here that the FZR is the last car you want to get sideways.

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Why not, England got rid of our convicts the same way.

Personally they should just dump it all in the southern states of America, no one important lives there, and hell, I'm sure the radiation will increase depth of the gen pool.

If you didn't know, I live in one of the southern states, so bite me A good place for all that waste could be Geroge Bush's ranch?

I am also leaving LFSCAR now instead of after the pancake race. I had never tested my car with a full load of fuel, and my setup was relatively loose as it was with around 10%. But with 100%, i was fighting hard not to slide the car out and spin, which failed. G. Gab and J.B., I apologize for the incidences between us in the race.

Quote from ToxicKlay :I'd love to see them race F1 at NHIS

(New Hampshire International Speedway)

Short course, but fun with F1.

IDK if all the cars would fit lol.

If fourty-three 3400 pound stock cars can fit, how cant ~30 F1 cars fit? (sorry, i dont know exactly how many race at once)

I have a hotkey that says "Leaving pits, pass left/right" (depending on which side of the track the pit exit is on.) This helps other racers on the track so they are prepared to pass a slow car safely. This especially helps on the oval servers as the cars are on the gas nonstop.
