My report:
I was practicing a lot before the race (again), I mean, I've made a race simulation on friday to know, if the R2 tires can last this much laps. I have made a wired conclusion: the outside tires (right side) can last for the whole 130 lap race, but the inner tires blew to puncture at 105th lap. At first that meant to me, that there is something wrong with the LFS tire wear simulation, but as I started to think about, I thought my setup is set for outside tire grip. So as I turn the (racing)wheel, it turns the right front wheel, and the left side is slipping only, thats why it had a puncture. By the way I couldn't make a (long) draft simulation, so I didn't know how the slipstream will effect to the tire wear.
Qual:
A word to Fishfix: I know, I've made only two races here, but I think I can have a dissent. On the oval, next time plz don't do an open quali, because it don't make any sence. In my opinion, If somebody had luck, he could catch a slipstream with somebody who is fast, so the fast man became more faster. So, i think, the qualification results didn't show the fastness, only how much luck do you had. Plus, the 20 minutes was very few. That's way I was be able to make only one darft lap, which was not so good.
Race:
I can't say much: james12s: apologise accapted. That incident ruined up my race, I have finished last, with i don't know, 60 laps (or so) behind. All the practicing was unnecessary, I could catch the last position with no practice either.
After the crash I was trying to calm down, tried to not to say anything, but I was driving a bit more arrogant, so I had killed my tires, and 20 laps before the end I had the left front puncture. That was all the practice about. Plus, I was the only one who had a puncture. It was totally irrelevant, because I was 60 laps behind.
Fishfix: Maybe james12s is right. I also think (also if i don't think about this crash) that this pit limiter stuff is not so good. In RL nascar thw pacecar going 90 or 100 mph, so the tires cool down much slower, and maybe they can avoid crashes easyer. And two more things:
1. Is the admin channel in ventrillo necessary?
2. I asked it before the race, but I ask again in write: Why the warm up lap counts to the race? I am not mad at anyone, I just dont understand why can't we set the race to 132 laps?
It was sad that we only had 14 racers, and more sad: only 7 has finished. Maybe somehow the series should have some advertisement. Not for money for sure. Maybe if somebody logs in to one of the FM servers by the welcome message the software should write into the chat something about the event. Just an idea.
Thank you to Fishfix and all the FM stuff to organize the race! I know it is very hard, you have to concentrate to many things, maybe the racers should concentrate as much as the admins.

Here is the race from my point of view:
I saw 150 speedway event as a spectator, and after that I have decided to participate in the next one, which was the Aston 75.
I was practicing pretty much on Aston Club. Because the race was held a week later, from the original scedule, and i had so much time, i've done 388 laps with XRR before the race. I've made a good setup for qualifing and for the race too. I've made a race simulation three or four days before the race, to test the car, the rubber, and most important, my concentration.
Before the event, I had a 59.67 personal best, which was not very good. Just after luch, I was starting my practice for the race.
At the qualifing, I have not drank Red Bull, but I got wings. I broke my PBs every time I was on the track. Just before the end, I broke the 0:59 barrier, and set a laptime of 58.93. With that time I have qualified to the second row (3rd pos).
Than the race was coming. (I DON'T REMEMBER WELL, SO PLEASE SORRY IF SG IS NOT TRUE)
I have made my first ever flying start (2nd time actually, because there was a flying start practice just before the race), and it gone not so well. Dropped back to 5th position. Strokes and James was just in front of me. They where doing better lap times, so the gap was gained. And (as i remember) in the 5th lap Strokes made a mistake, he was stuck in the wall after the first chicane. I was trying to avoid the accident, but I can't. I crashed into him. Luckly I was able to rejoin the race in front of Strokes. And after that the concentration race was begun. Many people made mistakes. I don't. I dont know how, but got in front of James also. Than at lap 42, the pace car come out. I had luck again. Gallindo, who was 2nd, was on a two stop strategy (probalby to avoid the puncture). He gont into the pits one or two laps before the pace car come out. Gallindo was very unlucky, made a small mistake, and got a penalty for pit lane speeding. My one stop strategy was payed out. And when the pit lane was opened, I quickly moved to make my one and only stop. I found myself on the 2nd place. Yankman was in front of me. He cathced the restart much better than me, and after that nothing was changed or me. I was just trying to concentrate on my race, and do not any mistake. After 74 laps (Fishfix: it was a 74 lap race, because the formation lap was counted as a race lap...) the checkered flag came out, and I have finished the race on 2nd place many-many seconds behind Yankman. Actually, I was the only one who finished the race, and not lapped.
Few things more:
Fishfix: I saw the race at autocross, you made the right desicion to not let HogaMan race. I mean, Hoga is a very fast driver, a very nice man, but these times he can't be serious. The PD team was made their own desicion.
I become 2nd because I was concentrating. I've made bad lap times (over 1 minute), but I didn't made any mistakes by myself. To finish 1st, you have one thing to do, and one not to do: be serious, and dont make any mistakes. The only one, who done that was Yankman.
Maybe you was too serious...Fishfix hit you from the back, made a big mistake, but you cut his head off! :slap: Please apologise next time.

Aston Club - Watkins Glen
Fishfix and the other LFSCAR organizer may be think (I think that also), that AS Club is quite similar to Watniks Glen, which is part of the Nascar calendar. Aston Club is short, like all of the American sportscar courses, such as Mid-Ohio or Watkins Glen, as they do a 1:07-1:10 lap with NEXTEL Cup cars.
