hello guys,

i'm really looking foreward for the race and the season, i hope everything will be all right to have them.
I just wanted to ask every drivers, who will race here:
Allways be patient. We will have long races, so none of us can win it in the first lap. If we can respect each other, we will definetly have a good season.

in the last season of lfscar the organizers (Fishfix) made some difference between drivers. The STCC/CTRA license is a very good option to filter the racers who has no experience, patience and respect. If only silver or gold (or above of course) licensed drivers would allowed to participate in the series, the high lane layout would be a real challenge.
PS: At this time - if I remember well - 35 drivers signed up... we should find | grep good drivers.

I usually race on high-licensed server, and I don't know any wreckers there. This article is a complete rubbish. How could anyone know about any drivers, without the license to watch them. Some "journalist" thinks he/she knows everything about everything.:dnfnoob::mad:

btw, I saw that here were some discussion about the Oval Reverse track. I don't think it's a problem, IMO it should remain in the calendar. Sadly in LFS we have only one oval track, so somehow the we make some diversity (i don't know if it's the correct word...).

So keep on lizard, it will be a great seasonm I think!

To the racers:
Last year i was participating in the LFSCAR 360 Degrees Cup, in the begining it was really a great fun, thanks to the FM guys, but as the races went on, every time fewer and fewer participantns showed at the races, so it must be cancelled due the lack of interest. We shouldn't do this this time. Please:

If you are not in race for the championship, plz don't go away, you still can have good races + you don't destroy the races for the people, who are in the high-end on points.

It's clear, if somebody reached an International (even B) license, he/she can hanlde single seater racecars. We have hughe respect to the others who race on SS3, but this guy. We are always trying to be very tolerant, because we know each other pretty much. We were not yelling to the guy, we were not even asked him to leave, but this is pretty unfair for us, i think.

dawedus12, you are right. zeugmond (and me aswell) reached the platinum license in the early months of ctra (it's name was stcc at those times), when fewer racers joined the server, than nowdays. We had some good races with the tbo class 1-1,5 years ago, but since than many other people has bought the S2 LFS, so it's much harder to gain points.

These times i prefer single seater racing on ctra. To let new people gain their points, we (high licensed drivers) are almost all the time racing on SS3 (sometimes SS2) server. We are gaining points rapidly, as FO8 got 4 times more points for the same yellow flag/best time/finish circumstance than the FBM on SS1.

That's why i suggested two race 1 and ss1 servers.

no, i mean the license sould remain titanium or super license, but the ctra points could change after the races. So Elo points could be the rating of drivers, and ctra points should remain as "skill points".

ok, I agree with you guys, but don't forget. You can be in a very good position in the point list, if you have started gaining points early. I was lucky, and i started to race in the old STCC days, so I got Platinum license very easy. Than I started to collect points as the X-system started, and I have Int B license now for single seaters. I'm in 9th place in the top-ss list. I am not good driver as Willi or Moose, but they are all behind me. This is not a fair standing. Elo system could change it.
As I mentioned, Elo system should work in high licenses, such Titanium and Super Licese.

I was wathcing ctra website, and i was thinking about what will happen if somebody reaches the "superlicense"? The next level will be ultralicense, the super-ultra license? And so on... Since ctra's system is counting "skill points", based on how many races you finished, in a few years nobody will be able to follow it. I mean only 1.5 years past since stcc/ctra is counting the points, and many people already reached the titanium license. They can challange now to the so called "unbotitanium" license.

But what if somebody reached a high-level license, such as titanium or superlicense, the points counting system will automatically switch to the Élő point system. This system is used by the chess federation to show how good a chess player is. I don't really know the mathematics of this system, but it's not so bat, i think. The competitor's points are calculated from the other participant's points. But, it seems my post is getting too long, here is a wikipedia article about the Élő point system:

All you need is patience! Don't be too agressive, so you can progress your license fast. Good luck! Moose was right, we are doing great races on SS2 and SS3! : (The problem is: Moose is always faster )

ok, probably a bug. But hat if, this is happening because the gearbox (and the ingite cut) is buit for 450 BHP, but we have now only 330 BHP? This is my only idea if it isn't a bug. What do you think?

I just dont understand why the X-System is saying that the FO8 is a Formula 3 car? It's more like a GP2, F3000 or Formula Nippon. It's needs just a little modification in the code, and will look better.
