Will wind be on or off? I know that in Qualification mode wind changes after each Quali - but I don't know if it changes in practice (i.e. if someone joins into an empty server is the wind set anew?).
I've just logged in to the server. I fiddled around with the setup - started a qualifying and when I was about to enter the first turn I 'Lost connection to the host'. And I couldn't reconnect either for some time afterwards.
The ping to the server is a bit high (~230) but I'm not sure that's the reason why I get thrown off. Maybe there's some packet loss along the way.
If I remember correctly it just states that it 'lost connection'. It might be my connection but it's usually very rare and twice in 'a row' is unusual indeed. However bad things usually like to happen twice in a row
To be honest the driving was a lot better than last round at Fern Bay - although this might come from the fact that Blackwood features a wider track than Fern Bay. The 'social' behaviour on the other hand was 'a little bit' off.
I hope we can see more clean driving especially since the next round is at South City and I'm pretty sure everyone knows what that means.
To be honest I thought the racing this time was better than at Fern Bay. I still got relegated to the back of the field twice and on top of that had another close call but looking at it I'd call it racing incidents - even though they're awfully close to the border (Seriously guys - I can't just disappear at the end of the first chicane).
To add to this: Sorry to L. Baker for hitting you at Race 2. For me it looked like a lag-incident - because the speed at which I hit you shouldn't really have sent you flying at all.
What really annoyed me, once again, was the lack of discipline of the drivers towards the admin. Dear lord guys - the race admin is also just a human! Calling stuff like 'omg when do we start?!' does not help at all and furthermore brings even more pressure to the admin itself.
If the whole procedure is too slow for you why don't you just go to a pickup server? Even in real life bigger events do not start and end at the exact precise time - delays just happen and those 5 - 10 minutes surely do not hurt anyone. Being patient and keeping silent would not only help the admin to sort stuff more quickly but would also make the whole atmosphere a lot more friendly. In all seriousness: At some points I was under the impression that the chat was invaded by a couple of 10-year olds.

Once again: Thank you Eduardo for organizing this. It was great fun even though I lacked practice and was spinning all over the place. I still had some Concept Racing guys to fight with at the rear (you guys were everywhere ).

Protest Against: (LFS Username): 222 D. Faurie (crazydav)
Type of Protest - Unfair Overtake or whatever: Reckless driving.
Description - Your opinion of what happened: Two cars trying to go into the fast left-hand corner after the bridge. 222 on the inside does not give me room to actually stay on the track thus pushing me off the track and consequently himself as well (one might even argue if 222 would've stayed on the track if I was not there).
Which Event / Session: (Quali or Race 1/2/3): Race 1

One protest from me regarding Race 2: Rule 2.2.1: "Drivers should NOT telepit or telespectate, instead they should signal the Race Director who will then show the Yellow Flag, and deploy the Safety Car." In that respect: Protest against R.de.Jong & M.Cherkashyn for not obeying that rule (I don't have access to LFS so I can't post the exact time). Probably one/two more from me this evening. Edit: And in Race 3: M. Boljevic again for spectating.
I agree on that one - the commentators were great!
P.S.: Especially Michael Passingham's final thought: "In this race the 19th place finisher, Novak, got the fastest lap. Amazing stuff. That sums up the strangest weekend in racing I've ever seen."
