Doesn't help me much Losing ~0.7s to the best just in Split 1 is rather frustrating (especially since it's similar to Westhill. There I lost 0.7s just in T1 ).
Again: I can't play it because I'm not using Test patches
It's actually a common problem with cars driving behind each other. If the first driver lifts off the foot and the distance between each car is too small for the speed then the cars at the end will have to brake to a standstill. It's also the most common reason for traffic jams
I guess the best thing to avoid this is to have people not bunch up so much during the safety car period.
Race one I got hit by a spinning car in the fast tyre-chicane.
Race two I got hit by someone who was trying to avoid a car and I couldn't see that car.
Race three I got hit by a flying car after the safety car restart.
Good stuff
On a different note: It's amazing how some people just can't stop using the keyboard when they're told to do so. Hey - I got a PhD report to write - how about I employ you?
PNG does not support Layers Timo. It is true that Adobe Fireworks can store layer information into PNG but that is simply a 'wrong' implementation of PNG.
The easiest solution would be to use XCF. It supports layers and everyone can open and save it - with the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
It's because the PSD-format changes over time and thus PSD != PSD. Even Photoshop itself has to update the file if it recognizes that it's an older format.
An external program might be able to read PS3 files but might misinterpret PS4 ones.
Are these results up to the point when the server crashed or up to the 1:30 mark? Because I'm pretty sure I was in front of both Mason and Liibeon (they overtook me the moment my tired popped and right after that the server crashed).
Additionally: I'd like to file a protest against myself for not pitting in Race 1 (although I had all intents to do so in the lap when the server crashed).
The first race wasn't really exciting because I was alone for most of the time. Additionally some TBO drivers were a bit over-zealous, making me lose 10 - 20 seconds by bumping me off the driving line.
Funnily enough the server crashed at the same time when my right front tyre popped.
The second race was awesome in the last 15 minutes because I had some nice fights with Michael - along with a photo finish. Thanks for the fight Michael and sorry for some bumps here and there!
Just wondering: Are you guys able to do more than 10 laps doing those laptimes? My tyres are burning after 6 laps - and that's doing 1:39.9x (with rather poor split 1 times - around 43.5).
I'd love to join but since I've built my new computer my wheel seems to be working differently making me oversteer all the time.
If I can fix this until then I'll join in the STD class. So take this as a ~provisional entry:
Name: David Novak
Username: Hypothraxer
Team Name: Synetic (I thought I'd go easy on you guys this time )
Team Tag (MUST be in square brackets - [ ] ): [Syn]
Car: XRG
LFS Username : Hypothraxer
Real Name : David Novák
Team : None at the moment / Privateer
Eligible (Hotlap under 2:50.18) : Did the testrace (2:46.81 I believe)
Preferred Number : 77 / 8
I had a lot of fun during the first half of the race. But I was rather unlucky while lapping the TBO's. Usually I approached them when they could not move away so I had to break a lot (Kudos to the drivers - I rarely had a situation where I didn't know what you're going to do). This brought Jack always back and I somehow couldn't pass him until his pitstop.
My pitstop was hilarious in the aspect that I managed to spin on the entry - then forgot to change tyres so I had to pit a second time. I kinda settled for 7th place until I realised that Jack was coming closer each lap. Sadly his tyre popped so there was no duel at the end.
I'm also terribly sorry for bumping a TBO off track. I thought you would stay on the inside but you moved outside and I changed my line as well but I was too fast.
I'm also sorry for bumping Alfons off the track. I was under the impression that you saw the blue flag but you closed the gap and I kinda had to squeeze through. Here as well: I'm very sorry.
I'm not sure if I'll make it. Got some errands to run and if the weather stays that way (heavy snowfall) I might not make it home in time due to 50+ cm snow.
Just a quick question: How are the driver changes handled? Since I doubt everyone can be on the server all the time it's something like in the 16h event?
As soon as the teammate logs in the driver has to go to the pits and perform the change?
