I want to hear about the Dev input. Why haven't we heard from Scawen or Vic yet? I read the whole thread, and I can't believe Scawen hasn't posted a, "Don't worry I will take care of the situation" type relpy? I couldn't care less what happens to Phlos, there are plenty of people that probably could contribute more towards developement. IE: Kegety?
Helps to change the FOV up too, I am a BIG fan of Richard Burns Rally, and because everything is so narrow and close to you, 120km/h through bends makes me think holy sh slow it down. Seriously though it does a bang up job of making me feel like a pussy driving.
Well I swim compititively, so everyday I have swim practice that last 2 hours. Stretches the muscles in every which way and gives me muscles to throw around the wheel a lil bit (specially when driving the bf1 sheesh! :tilt
Well, I am not in the "know how" to start with the default setup and make a fast set from scratch. I usually go online race around with others, and the fastest most constant racer I usually ask for a set. Then I take that set for a spin for the rest of the night, then I change what I want so it fits my preference more. Usually just small changes though, and I never miss with gear ratios big mistake most often
Here's my Fz50 sound file, just put it in the data/engine folder and then /edit_eng and load it. Still has some problems, inside sounds pretty good, outside sounds nothing like what I wanted it to, but hey unless you race in chase mode, tough luck.
Can Scawen, or rather Victor cause he manages the forum I think? Could they allow .eng type files to be attachments because it'd make it much easier for us to upload our tinkered creations on the forum.
So is anyone willing to start trading around there sound setups I reworked the GTR's, openwheelers and a few others. Mostly made them abit louder and beefer/raspy except the Fz50 I made it sound like a ferrari
My vote towards the Black T-shirt with just the LFS colored logo, and the black polo with colored logo. I would go for the LFS on the back of the T-shirt if it weren't for the website URL. I want to keep the geek statis down. I'd happily tell people where to go find this thing called :lfs: when they ask about my shirt.
The county next to mine in Nebraska just got a few chargers, they are scary compared to the crown vics they use for regular patrol. I've also seen a camaro roll into the state trooper dept down the street. Good to know the ricer boys won't be able to get away! Except today since it snowed
Rallycrosses in American usually tend to be all one surface, (gravel, dirt, tarmac) I like the option (like instead of reversing the autocross parking lot, make it dirt or asphalt) then just put cones down, and thats what the kinda rally crosses in the USA I have attended are like.
I swim 4 hours a day (530am to 7am; 330pm to 6pm) on top of school, and it's not just laps it's a pretty tough workout set for the varsity team I'm on.
Usually doens't cause problems, but my chair is extremely comfy and I'm guilty of falling asleep in it a couple times. But yes posture while racing for a long time is key, and taking breaks ie(bathroom, food, social life?) course I'm 17 so I'm still nimble.
Well in LFS I always LFB because it is faster, and it's like using cart pedals (Black momo).
In real life, just casual driving I right foot brake, but when I autocross I use my left foot sometimes for certain corners.
I'm going to Colorado Feb 17? I think not sure what Mountains yet, but I really liked Copper Mt, and also went to Abasin but I liked Copper alot more. Any suggestions, I'm a snowboarder
