The BF1 is great ....offline..

but I find online it moves so fast and I cant react to things in time.....i'm not an F1 driver after all....

Also, the BF1 will probably have attracted a load of new players who's lack of experience shows up on crowded servers...


FOX, on south city classic...20 odd cars competing is still great....and if you can get up the front....you feel like a god.

In fact, I think the servers like that attract the best racers....which is good. The new physics have given much better racing as passing is now down to pure skill rather than someone getting a little out of shape and flying off.

Well the U patch has just fixed my graphics...so I cant complain really...

Just I get very bad frame rate with the BF1....

is the model more detailed than the other cars or something...?

I have a newish laptop with an intergrated card....And probably should be buying a graphics card....

anyone know any good, affordable cards than I can plug into a laptop ...than will give ok graphics...?..nothing special just ok..

ok...I've been playing the new patch for a day now...and its bloody good of course....

but it would be cool if you can alter the Traction Control, Brake balance and diff on the BMWsauber on the move...like in real F1.

THe other day I manged by accident to turn off the HUD/sky messages things....

you know...the lap counter and the timing...

so that there was no information onscreen....


I have no idea how I did it.....and now I need to find out for screenshot/video purposes...

I agree, the thing is if they were moving as fast as I was I wouldn have even considered trying that move...as it simply wouldnt work...

I knwo what you mean by the esses after the chacane though....I tend to give way in those circumstances, as they often are so despeate to get infront that they will out brake themseves and stick it in the wall...

I think I'm pretty clean driver, I was never gona take either of them out. Being truthfull I never thought about it as far as this...I understand the corner rights thing...but it didnt come into my mind then, as far as I could see they had taken a dodgy line into the chicane an there was enough room for me to drive past them.

It was only a 3 lap friendly anyway...not a serious race or anything...

try setting the diff to open....

and if you still have troubles turn the throttle help on...

I dont see that I did anything wrong...surely you should be able to pass as long as you dont run the other guy off the road or take him out...he had enough room.

3: Must not be better than mine!

I had the same problem when I was new to LFS...

You will get the hang of it...after a while you can just sort of instinctivly know how to control it....you just have to correct the throttle when yo start to slide, and correct any direction change early and lightly....

At some point it will sort of 'click'...

I'm ripping off the karting championship idea for my team and another team....gona make some short twisty tracks for the MRT....

I can add a start and a finish....but it doesnt recognise when I cross the line....the lap just continues....

how do i make it a lap..and not just a big never ending thing....?

but how do I make my own autocross layouts...? do I have to download a program and if so where from...?

I now what you mean about people not pressing the ban....It can be pretty frustrating but if only you are seeing what this guys doing then nobody else bans....

Its worst on the oval servers...the other day there was a definate wrecker.....he was parking in the middle of the road and swerving wide in corners to take people out....

Despite him ruining the race over 10 times in a row...he wasnt banned becuase he said he was a newbie.....

There really isnt to much you can do....just try and alert the other racers to what is going on and hope they will agree.

Ok...I love LFS...and I cant wait for the improvements..

I have been having big problems with disconnections...and I realise its probably my connection...but if it were possible I would really like to see some sort of improvememnt or research into these problems...

I can play Unreal Tournament online with no lag and no disconections....so I dont know why I have problems with LFS...All I ask is that this be looked at some some point in the game development and hopefully at some point solved...or made a bit better....



My worry about S3/updates = I use a lap top...and LFS runs well with good detail...but It seems a lot of people have very powerfull computers (compared to me) and with the improvements...LFS will eat my compuer and I wont be able to play.


I suggest that new graphics...textures...etc should be made to improve graphics but there should be the option to have less power thirsty textures and stuff available to the users who dont have the latest graphics card or processor....
