WHats the deal with teams....

I am in a 3 person team...but can we enter team championships or something..?

What is the point of teams and do i have to register it or....

The female driver is lighter, but when you select her, the throttle pedal operates the 'hair and makup' rather than the accelerator...

you can get a mirror at the top of the screen from the outide views if thats what you want...

I use it as I race from on top of the roll bar, helps my accuracy...

I'll go find how to use it...I cant remember straight off my head..

I need help, I'm did a new PB of 1m11.12 on Blackwood in my Formula XR the other day...

I felt I put my 3 best ever sectors together and was increadibly accurate...I was at my total maximum...

But it was still over 1 sec off the front running pace....(late 1m9s...)

I can lead and occasionaly win races, if I drive 100 perfect...but If i'm not 1st onto the long straight I gradually fall back...

I need more pace!!!! If I post a replay of a good lap, will someone point out where i'm loosing the time, and how I can improve it..?

what does shift F do..?

I'm using a PS2 style controler...and theres no real difference to wheel set ups I find...

I normally just reduce the steering lock so that I am smoother....

fair play indeed, ots of drivers would just take me out...you made it hard...but not unfair...

as for going through corners side by side, i'm not so amazed..i've been doing this for a while...it normally ends in tears...

I like this move becuase I forced it...he defended really hard but I still made it...

you cant find your speed offline...

this was my problem...the AI is horrendusly slow on the hardest setting....I thought I was really good, ntill I get online and find people going 10 secs faster!

The thing is how do you learn how to act into the first corner...

When you start you may go in thinking you can attack and make up places...but sooner or later you learn this aint the way to go...

you can only learn how to race properly online...

I tried to learn ofline...but it cant be done...

You have to see the good players and the lines they take...and you can't learn how to attack/defend with AI opponents.....(especially when they 10 secs a lap too slow on the hardest setting...)

I get annoyed when some super fast guys mess up the first corner, then crash into me trying to make it back up the field..(although normally the race gets restarted...because they dont like it, and feel that only they are allowed to win :mad: ).....people must realise and be patient around less experienced/fast drivers, and its not fair o ban them..they will become good one day...

Thankfully I survived being totaly new and shit...and can now hold my own...and I have respect for beginers...because I was one (still am reallly) and I kno how tough it can be to begin with..

yeah...its so much better playing against human oponents who can really fight you...then when you do something you feel like a legend...

especially on LFS because its so bloody hard...

It felt so good becuase the other driver was really trying mega had to keep me back...I can race well, but I've never forced a pass on somebody like I did there...most passes I make come from drivers spining off...I can only win if I get the lead at the start and keep it...maybe now I be a bit more agressive...

sorry if i'm going overboard on this...but that was the first pass I made where I had to think, and be super brave to pull off...

most times I tried to pass someone i usually ends in a big crash....this guy knows how to defend...and he said himself he thought he had me covered...

with the onboard cam the way I explained!, you cant see what both drivers were doing in the following cam....

sorry guys...but I was so happy that I made it stick, that I almost spun it later on not consentrating...

you need to see it in the view i mentioned...it looks trully spetacular....

I saw him go wide and get sideways up ahead...and I knew he was gona have poor grip for the next few corners...

I made sure I was fast though the chicane and went for a run down the inside into the next corner...he saw it coming and blocked me off...but I wasnt about to back down...he left me just enough room, he was squeezing me quite a bit...but I held in there...

then the moment of glory....

sorry again...but I have bee playin for just over a week and this is the greatest thing I ever done...

okay...i'm quite new to LFS.

But today, I think I did something that most super experienced LFS legends can appreciate...and gasp at...

Simply, I made a genuine overtake that, felt to me like it was genuinely great, really bloody great...

i'll try not to gloat anymore...and thanks to the other driver involved...I have total respect for your clean and skilled defence...

here it is - Lap 3, going into the sweeping corner under the big tyre thing at Blackwood...Formula XR...

When I did it it was like slow motion...

To appreciate it, you really need to be onboard with me...

Use the custom view to get an F1 style, roll bar camera view...it looks increadble like this...honestly, please take the time to see it like this...

you will need to view it as a multiplayer replay in the game I think...

When I go into multiplayer and select display list of games...about 50% of the time the sound turns to sludge...

I tried pressing shift + w but it does nothing...

anyone else get this..? its makes the game unplayable...(you would know what I mean if it happend)

But in Wales it is THE sport, and has been for decades...not just cos we won somthing...

Its hard to explain, but rugby is sooooo bloody important to the Welsh...in any match my family (especially my Dad) goes feckin metal....

We have way more passion for rugby than england do for football...thats why is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo important to beat England...
