Big THANKS to Brett (Jake_BLasted) for allowing his mod for derivatives!

XF GIMNY 4X4
What I've have done at this time:

- New engine: 1992 Suzuki Samurai G13B engine
1.3l inline 4 - Atmospheric - 92hp @6500rpm / 112Nm @5000rpm

- Bigger tires: 35''x12.5 R17

- Basically the same suspension, but lifted

- New 15/8 Pro Comp Series 51 steel rims

- New bumpers, sliders, winch, hooks, snorkel, roof rack, B pillar, soft top, inner and outside body roll cage, led bar, chassis mesh, exhaust, suspension mesh plus leaves attached as mudguards, spare tire mesh, skinnable spare tire vinyl cover, skinnable windshield banner
and its still work in progress

I've tested the new reduce detail function. I probably won't use it very often, but it's a good option to have, thanks! Thumbs up

I've noticed something else (I'm not sure is this the right thread)
When I press Ctrl to rotate or select points in 2D mode - this happens:
Some of the buttons goes down there and moves around with the last selected point.
It's seems to be a problem, because it blocks the 'R' for free rotate. Only if I zoom out several times I'm able to catch that 'R' and use it.
Hard to explain sorry. Shrug

''LOD2 should have a reasonably low number of triangles while keeping the overall car shape (around 1000 is usually more than enough)''

I think 8 000 - 10 000 tris for LOD2 should be good.
Less than that may can cause problems,
because for example my mod - FEND BR have 4 different configurations
1: stock/roof
2: offroad/roof+winch+roof rack+snorkel and other stuff.
3: open cab - without roof
4: open cab - without roof and the doors are off

All these details needs shadow and have to be visible from long distance.
In my case main body+all details are ~7 400 tris in LOD2 only.

Quote from Drifteris :...

I have a two tricks:
1. Select the part you want to work and move the tris to a free layer.
When its ready take it back to original layer.

2. If you dont have free layers:
Select the part you want to work on by selecting the triangles using groups mode for example, clock on 'hide unselected'(tris) , select tris again with ctrl+right mouse drag or press A to select all, click on 'select selections points' and again click on 'hide unselected'(points) - and you have it.

It will be awesome, if we can have different rims front and back.

Can be as added as a future in next updates, pleaseee? Wave

Super detailed and good looking model.

I think it deserve a little bit better lod2, because it's not only for shadow, it's also how the car looks from a long distance.

I've notice i'ts hard to navigate and move around into the car (when you work on the interior for example)
You can try to change your FOV with that black bullet point.

Awesome job overall Thumbs up
