Created my ideal drift/grip car, based off old videos and magazine pictures. Keeping the engine and chassis accurate to those times to give a true experience. Weight was reduced ~100kg as the car is fully stripped/gutted. The Car is sporting lightweight bucket seats, upgraded suspension, R14 8J Classic Wheels, Bigger Brakes, Improved Exhaust System, Half Cage, ITB's, Mild Cams, and modest engine tuning. As well as Front & Rear Aero parts.

A Functional skateboard in Live For Speed!

The hitbox is setup in a way to allow flip tricks and grinds while trying to maximize the strength of the suspension. At such a small scale the suspension components like to break, so having the hitbox bottom out before the suspension does was key to doing big gaps / jumps and still being able to roll away afterwards.

No modelled skater / driver on top, the scale was a little to big for him to fit and if i wanted to include flip tricks, the "driver" would also flip with the board. Instead i went with no skater which gives the same feel as the phone game "True Skate"

Its been mentioned a few times in the forums, im pretty sure the developers know about it so it might come out in the next update but that could be in a month or years we dont really know for sure.

The car holds up fine for me using a thrustmaster Shifter but i know that if youre using a click shifter with auto-clutch then it burns up clutches sometimes

Sadly theres not, its such a high revving engine be sure that you release the clutch before getting back on the gas.
I was lazy shifting in testing and the clutch will start to go fast if you’re slipping it constantly.

The engine is fully modelled and dropped onto the frame with accurate power and gearing, suspension tubes have frame mount locations, and weight is accurate to where things sit on the car.

Still missing some components that would make the car fully function, radiator, shift linkage, interior components, brake/clutch reservoirs, etc, etc.
