Quote from loopingz :Ok here is my take on the Cammera logo and skins...

Other than that, any chance to have the blackbird back? I could not even try it...

Edit: I trried my best to center the stripe, might need a little extra tweak in the front.

These skins you guys are making are super good, ill add them to the default skins if you want!

Also the Blackbird should still be public... I finished the things i wanted to get done on it
so its now public for good.

Car feels decent on wheel and everything looks good visually great mod.

Couple small things would be Lights don't work like Rubie said and your rear double wishbone suspension isn't set up correctly. When the rear shock compresses you're gaining + positive camber.

Other than that man its fun to drive!

Quote from marcin338 :I love this Porsche even more. The rear defroster window is nice but now it's not correct to the rest of windows.. it's to bright.
Here are just made my skins.

Thanks Marcin, ill take a look at the rear window and make sure its more even to the others.
Also if you want i could include your skins into the default included skins on the mod! They’re a perfect fit Smile

Quote from Scawen :Yes, I believe that making the ratings more prominent and easy to access would get more (and therefore more reliable) ratings on which to base approval decisions.

For now, mods reaching approval will remain a bit slower than we might hope. But it's OK. Smile

I think the system is great currently Scawen, I agree with timdecnodder's thoughts on that the general players, from my experience in online races and even friends who I play with, just use the cars without giving any thought into reviewing it. Mainly I've found that since the system only works on the LFS site, a lot of the guys didn't even know they could review the car or didn't know where to go which was surprising.

Not sure if a little comment in-game on the side of the mod selection screen could be a couple tips like:
"Remember to give feedback by leaving a comment and star rating!"
"Leave a review by giving a rating from 1-5 using the star icons!"

and then allowing them to just give a review in-game or maybe even a comment if possible.

Just a suggestion, thought i would share my thoughts on the subject since it does seem weird that many cars have high download numbers but almost no reviews.

Quote from ahromenko :You just need to use U_ prefix in material name to avoid flipping gauges, take a look how default LFS car gauges work.

I made a fake red-line so you can over rev the car to beyond 6-7k up to 9k. I dont want the gauges to flip in general not mirroring the gauges since it would break that effect. If i do mirror the gauges and mirror the fake redline it might work tho...

Quote from NumberTwo :Can is ask why does it say this is public for limited time?

FM has a Mods Junkies server where we race different mods weekly (but same mod whole week, so community gets to know the cars in racing environment). We would like to race this car next week, but we dont want to have it pulled out of public mid week.

Ended up finishing everything i wanted to change, so the car is now public for good! Big grin

Quote from numbazZ :A tutorial on how to make a LOD would be nice. I see there are many models with 2 LODs, a basic one, and an automatically created collision LOD, because of that many models look like boxes from a close distance and have a bad shadow. I also can't understand how to put my low poly model on a second LOD and make 3 LODs as it must be for a good mod.

Ill include a short video that goes more in detail about the LOD's. I think go over them in my HOW-TO guide video.

Couple new videos up to check out aswell!

Oh that is really weird haha. Ill change the allowed tire pressures, id recommend just not using 0 psi lol simple fix to this is to put air in your tires Big grin

Quote from loopingz :Without splitting the mod and not much control on setups, people will run the early model with downforce and that's not cool. I know it is neat to keep it this way (with configuration) but I would prefer it much better by version according to their era.
Right now if I want to make a server with non aero F1 I have the gpl65 and the Tommy28. It would be nice having a exclusive p166.
Your car(s) is so nice it is ahead of the modding system. It is a family of nice cars!

I agree, thats next on the list to have a completely separate mod for 60s very non aero car

Quote from edoardo94 :I have an idea. It is not that much, but may you create different standard setups per each aero kits? In this way maybe it is possible to choose kits with a setup that is as much "real" as possible. Unfortunately, I don't know much about car dynamic behaviour to set up by myself to correct this issue

Yea i can definitely make 4 default setups that reflect the cars aero package. Setups can be very personal depending on driver so I recommend tweaking them to make the car handling exactly how you would like it too.

Quote from BeNoM :Absolutely wicked! Been making Wangan setups for mods, but it's nice to finally have a Wangan-built car. Wish it would stay public though.

Will probably go public in the future, still working on it right now. Gotta change out the Mk2’s for something more fitting too.

Quote from HighSpeedGarage :Thank you!
I really want to do exactly the working suspension, as on the standard F1 in the LFS. So you can see huge holes between the rear wheels - there should be a 3d suspension. I will do it soon!

Sweeeet that's exciting. Were testing it right now online to give you some feedback Smile .

Running into a problem where at the lowest height setting the car is still not very low / has a lot of travel left so it clips through the fenders. Check "No springs test" and adjust your max up to set the max low the car can be ( sets the suspension bump stops Wink )

Quote :I had my doubts when I saw it's on linear suspension, HOWEVER
This feels alright! I do agree with Jake where it could only feel better on proper suspension.

I do notice also when I make a new drift setup from the existing one, the front suspension raises. I wanna slam it on its nuts but I can't when I make a new setup.

^ Basically what Popn said

Having a blast with the guys drifting it, the points listed above are the only issues really.
Other than that, great mod man. Big grin

Car feels great, love the different config options so far too. A 90s config would be sweet Wink
The cars suspension feels good but i noticed you used linear suspension all around :/ would be cool to change that to MacPherson (pretty sure jzx81's run MacPherson struts)
Overall banger mod hyped to see it improve from here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
