There is no constraints he willingly put into effect himself.
It's simple.

ac - doesn't host the ability to put mods into the game (ie - can put whatever you want into it because developers aren't liable for any likeness)

lfs - hosts the ability for mods ( ie - is responsible for any likeness uploaded through their own system)

It looks like it's coming along nicely.
I ran some laps with a single motorcycle last night and it was pretty decent following them around.

I am stoked to hear you are taking motorcycles into consideration on the new tire physics, whatta guy you are.

Hey Scawen, I've brought this topic up before but never got a answer or a reply from you.
Obviously those of us that are dedicated to riding motorbikes in liveforspeed is going great, many of us are able to enjoy it quite well.

There are accouple things lacking in the motorcycle department
(this isn't a drop what you are doing and do this thread, just a inquiry)

Is it possible to have rider weight shift based on steering input?
Is it possible to have Front and Rear brake on separate inputs or the ability to have more force applied to the fronts than the rears similar style to how combined braking is in GPBIKES/ MXBIKES?

You can see several design choices occurring over the process.
left to do
* finish modeling engine accessories
* Finish Exhaust
* Finish rear swing arm mounts and engine mounts
* People want lights (in and out of thinking the idea of adding some)
* make a gauge cluster
* Finish handlebars and mudguard w/ brakes and accessories.

Hello, I am currently developing a motorbike inspired by the honda nsr500 but with my own twists and some of my own design. I previously had started a motorcycle a few months ago but was unhappy with the quality of my modeling. So I decided to take a course on udemy.com and this is what I've been able to manage so far.
I am quite happy with how this one is turning out and will probably be finishing/ uploading within this month hopefully.

Any questions I will be happy to answer. It will be a 2 stroke 500cc similar to the tsr500 but I believe I will either make a street version and a turbo version aswell.

I am well aware how motorcyles actually work as I ride myself. Though you are correct motorcycle sims will never be 1:1 due to limited driver involvement through a game, even gpbikes suffer from this same idea.

update, getting er done. Good bye to my social life while doing this.

That recessed section in the rear tail is where the brake light and turn signals will be. the bike will have no front turn signals unless i decide to extrude a small section of the fork arm and put a raised "led" style turn signal.

Hello, I am creating a motorcycle.
It's basically modeled after a 70's cafe cb racer mixed in with a new gsxr flipped forks.
Will have a 500 2 stroke similar to the tsr500 and a 6 speed transmission.

Hope to get started in lfs editor, a few more things to add on the model so hopefully soon!

Edit- Looking at it now I was thinking of setting the tailights in the rear view of the frame. Thoughts?

Hello this message is pretty much for Scawen and other devs to embark on the though of progressing the Motorcycle steering attributes.

Myself and many others really enjoy having motorcylces in the game, we all use them quite well but there is a certain lack of movement needed for to properly push these to limit. We have new motorcycles coming in every month. I don't want anyone to come in here complaining about the mods or the idea of motorcycles.

I've and a few others have experimented with moving the driverweight on one side to see if this helps with stability and infact it does in such a way that if we could get a script to move the drivers weight when the steering angle we could infact have one of the best motorcycle sims out already. Now I know what you're thinking, Lfs is a car what am I on about, but it's not exactly just a car game anymore. The bikes are proving to work and is very comparable to games like MX bikes and GP bikes both in which I have over a thousand hours.

So my question to Scawen, is it possible for this script to exist and then coexist with cars?
