Rony, my apologies for what it is worth. I couldn't get lower into the turn due to drivers next to me, my left tyres had no grip and I did a slow slide towards the wall when I hit it and slammed into you. Sorry. I knew I had cold tyres, tried to take it easy, but difficult to take it easy when no one else is. Thus, I ruined your race, very sorry.
I guess the next crash after the S/F line on lap 54 was mostly due to cold tyres too... seemed to be it looking at the way drivers lost control.

What yellow thing on air box? The thing behind the driver's head? But it is yellow in mine??? Well, if you can sort it out I will appreciate it very much!
Car 185 - can you please explain what happened when you sideswiped me, car 47, on a straight line with ample space to the left and right of you, in front of the pits? Lap 11, time 13:12.02.
Practise session 6: My feeling in the beginning of this race was - lots of drivers closed their eyes, foot to the throttle and just went! If I was in a real car, I would have been afraid for my life, as such, even i, the sim, I was scared and seriously rattled.
About passing - yes, there are exceptions, but - passing on the left hand side is a great idea. Passing on the outside is a bad idea! More than once, I drafted a car, passed on the left, tried to get back on the racing line, only to find someone closing fast on my outside - RESULT - I cannot get back to the line, am on the inside, blocking other cars trying to draft me, all the time wondering what the driver on my outside is going to do. Like one guy, forced me to the centre, passed me on the outside, slammed to the inside, hit me, forced me through the pit lane last night.
About the start of the race - my feeling is a lot of drivers, especially the once that qualified at the back of the grid, want to get to the start of the field in turn 1, driving like mad through the field. You qualified at the back, you deserve to be at the back, at least give the field time to spread out.
And damn - stop asking for permission to chat, do what the hosts says and stay silent during the race and concentrate on the track.
Guys.. admins/hosts/safety cars are doing a great job...
A bit of patience on the restarts... wait for field to stabilise... get rythm.. will help a lot, minimise tyre warming during safety cars.. avoid unnecessary yellows...
Cruise and drift servers can be ignored if you don't like them.
There is some great racing servers, well populated on LFS - just know where to look. I am not specifically thinking of cargames. Think OLFSL, think GDC, Redline - mature driving and good racing.
Weeellll... actually not, but good idea though , I simply couldn't remember what the rules said about what to do after a flip . So, I was just lying there waiting to be advised about what to do... and not sure what you were trying to do either, encircling my turtled car...
Was darn unlucky to touch that barrier forming your little shelter... just couldn't understand why I flipped, yesterday I was trying my best to flip the car to test its top gear speed, couldn't do it without a ramp..
Hmmm... was so pissed off after been taken out then flipped by that darn barrier, on T1, lap 1 of the practise race, I drove one LSFW hotlap in fury to get rid of my frustrations, well, 47.94 putting me 6th in the hotlap standings... after trying for 3 days to better my 48.00...
Whatever, but Jonathan Palmer, T Falke... your race control is excellent, Jose, hard work - leaving no room for misinterpretation. Good race, wish I've been there...
Thank you Corns for the organisation during the previous months, also to the staff for all you did - watching, reporting, pace car, safety car. All of you were needed for this event.
My race wasn't great, LFS minimised due to stupid virus prgram that decided it needed to update. This was just when 2 front runners was on their way to lap me, I hope I didn't interfere with you as all it could do was to slam my car blindly into the wall on turn 3, then unwillingly hit the pitlane when I wasn't prepared to pit. Changed tyres, refueled, but damage repair was off and only realised the extend of the damage when I made a messy pitlane exit. So, had to pit again to repair on next lap, lost 3 more laps due to this fiasco. Luckily I didn't cause any yellow flags and could later do my final pit stop under full course yellow without loosing a lap.
Thank you to all the guys willing to draft with me even though I was laps down, hope I helped you a bit.
1) Blue flagged driver was allowed to draft a single car laps up on him - it would've been a strategic move from the up-lap driver to catch front runners or another group to better racing position.
2) BLue flagged driver was allowed to tag along (catch draft of) behind a group of up-lap drivers, but not to slingshot or bump draft with them.
Last night I took part in an oval event - full grid, 32 drivers started, 8 finished, half the field didn't survive the first 2 laps out of 200 laps- (FM) Fox Events
The Kyoto 400 way of qualifying is great. A single hotlap does not say anything about your racing abilities, a single hotlap combined with a qualifying race says whether you are fast, experienced and consistent. I had the 2nd fastest hotlap, but I am starting 13th in tonight's race - this is where I belong, it says what my racing abilities are - not great.
What am I saying - if you are at the back of grid, there is a reason for it, decide beforehand whether you really have the ability to win the race. If not, start your fight slowly from the back, run a good race, try to finish and gain experience for next year. Do not barge through the field and take other more experienced and better drivers out within the first few corners.
