This one shouldn't be too hard to do. Basically I would like a skin with the simple paint scheme of the above Volvo C30. Just a simple cream/pearl white body with the brown bodykit/skirt. Details aren't terribly important, it's mostly the white/brown theme that I'm looking for.
In a perfect world I'd love for it to be made for as many of the following cars as possible (mainly LX6, RAC, FZ5, XFR, XFG, RB4, UFR, UF1, in that order of preference), but I'd settle for just an LX6 version (brown skirt including the wheel wells, small part of the nose cone area, and the actual body). Yeah, I know that it fits the XFR best, but I like the LX6 more
Before I got my G25, I used to have a cheap force feedback joystick hooked up via FFShifter. It had quite a decent feel to it, and I even programmed the shifter/force graphs so that the stick would shake when it was in neutral.
Only problem was, since the motors were constantly working, it used to overheat and the feel would go limp after a short period of time, even with heatsinks installed on the motors.
Since the shifter on the G25 is very similar to a joystick, it's concievable that a force feedback system could be retrofitted to it. Wouldn't be easy though, even if the reverse gear was sacrificed.
I'd go for a black long-sleeved tee, with colored logo, and notext on the sleeve... I really don't like that text on the sleeve. It looks great on the short sleeved ones, but on the long sleeve it's way too big.
I'd probably get a black short-sleeve tee w/ color logo, black polo w/ color logo, and one of the abovementioned black long-sleeve tees with color logo and no big text (if it becomes a possibility)
I think that if you're going to keep adding to it, please make each part of it optional (and hopefully position-adjustable), so that (as an example) people who choose to can have nothing but the Gball and not the angle meter/points system.
Yeah, quiet pc's are pretty nice to have. I've got the P180 like Roadie, but have kept it pretty much as-is (only swapped white LEDs on it, and quieter fans/HSFs) since it's a really nice case to begin with.
As for mods that fall into the "other" category, here's one of my babies. It usually hides in my car, but I take it into the house every now and then for upgrades and software stuff.
Yeah it's one of the few things that made me decide on a 20 inch widescreen over a pair of 17 inchers...
I did find that it helped to move the center of the view to one monitor as opposed to having it dead center. But other than suggesting a third monitor, I don't know what else to tell ya
One problem that I see is if this is used on a secondary monitor and not a networked client, using a touchscreen for buttons and settings/whatnot might change focus from LFS.exe to the external app and create some issues there.
Well first of all I would disable the "widescreen" mode in the display settings that give you the top and bottom bars.
Second of all, since this is way wider than "regular" widescreen, the virtual guages are definitely stretched to those extremes. I had this problem when I had my 2560x1024 setup, and I ended up using a view with real guages instead.
Of course, this oversizing of the virtual guages can easily be fixed by something like a user-adjustable scaling variable of some sorts...
oh good god I'd love to have something like this...
ever since I fried the touchscreen controller for the 8" that I was gonna use for my carPC, it's been sitting at home doing nothing but light multitasking
