Quote from NaBUru38 :It's easy, every month three tracks are added to the official LFS servers.

More cars and more tracks will mean more drivers. Although I'm not sure about the drivers per track ratio... Anyway, in 2008 many 2004s will have gotten bored of Blackwood...

And we need more twisty layouts (something like the Tour de Corse), more rallycross circuits, and of course ice tracks.

Meh I will never get bored of Blackwood.

Quote from XCNuse :RX-7 matches up perfectly from what i can see

reflections are not hard at all, they are just simple layer effects

plus.. if you notice on both the civic and the RX-7, the reflections are not real... at all, with the civic, its still reflecting the road, and the RX-7 doesnt even reflect the building behind it

this stuff really isnt hard at all, it just takes .. time; i promise you none of this stuff is 3d, 3d stuff is tons harder and you wouldnt go around posting a load of cars you modeled .. just to tune, plus if that RX-7 was a render, i cant say i've ever seen one more realistic than that... its a picture; 3d stuff wasnt that advanced back during the RX-7 days

:iagree:

Quote from XCNuse :that reflection doesnt even look real, i can promise you thats simple photoshop work, he just coppied the that area that would be reflected, inverted it, and messed around with it some

Yes I know it will take me months to do anything. I just started learning Photoshop a couple of weeks ago and make know 8% of its functions.

Here is another car made in photoshop. (You cant say it was done in 3D program)

Here is my first car I made. What do you guys think? By the way this is work in progress. I am working on it all the time but unfortunately I encountered some problems.

PS: I chose Fiat 126P because I didnt want to destroy more expensive car.

I dont like it either but its kinda cool to do it in photoshop. Im not going to spend weeks on one car and then show it to whole world. I just want to learn about reflecting, shading, making something look real in Photoshop and I think its a good way to start.

Thanks a lot.
Yeah I heard that on Polish forum, that they can do it in 10 hours but since they want it to be perfect, it takes them whole week.

Quote from XCNuse :what are you talking about madman? have you never seen photoshop work?

doing those pictures would take months for even the fastest modelers in the world.. photoshopists can do that stuff .. easily in less than a week

er kajojek.. your website.. definetly doesnt work right on firefox.. just tested IE and it works

They say it takes them about 10 hours but they dont sit and do it at once, they take brakes and stuff like that. So their work is done in about one week.
So did anybody find any tutorials?

And I disagree with you because everything is done in photoshop. I found quite few tutorials and I can make a crappy car but you wouldnt know it was done in pohotohsop either. I found a forum too. Read some and then you will believe it is done in photoshop. http://digimods.e-visionit.co.uk/
