Because of high amount of sign ups we have decided to drive on two different servers And this means we have to sort you all on two servers. How it's done?
Pre-qualifying is held. You do two hotlap times (you do hotlap in LFS and upload the replay to LFSWorld), one at Aston Cadet and other one at South City Town. 20 fastest from this pre-qualifying drives in Division 1 and 21-40 fastest drives in Division 2, rest will get on reserve list. Both divisions have seperate standings/championships so at the end of the season we have to champs, div1 winner and div2 winner. This way those who would drive most of the time in server 2 gets something to compete for, winning the div2. After the season is over, top10 from div1 qualifies automatically to season 2 div1 and top3 from div2 qualifies automatically to season 2 div1 aswell.
Why hotlaps? Because it's the easiest way to do this. Everyone can choose their time to do the laps etc.
In short:
Hotlaps needed: Aston Cadet & South City Town driven with XFR or UFR Deadline for hotlaps: 07/11/2006 23:59:59 (Tuesday)
Pre-qualifying ranking can be seen at lfs-tracker.de
People ranked in top 20 drives in Division 1, people ranked between 21-40 drives in Division 2 and rest will get on reserve list.
If you don't see your name at tracker, please pm me your online/league name and lfsworld name.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have some questions. You can ask in this thread or pm me.
Good luck
UXRL keeps the right to change the size of the divisions/grids even after the pre-qualifying deadline.
Not a bad format niki but I want to keep the points system and the format as simple as possible (not like NASCAR where after the season winner has like 1000 points or something).
Basically the format we'll be using is this:
Prequalifying is held (is it hotlapping or other system is yet unknown but not for long anymore). Best 18-20 from that prequalifying drives in Division 1 (or pool1) and rest drives in Division 2 (/pool2) which is its own championship. So at the end of the season we have to champs, div1 winner and div2 winner. This way those who would drive most of the time in server 2 gets something to compete for, winning the div2. After the season is over the top10 from div1 qualifies automatically to season 2 div1 and top3 or top5 or something from div2 aswell qualifies automatically to season 2 div1.
It depends what kind of qualifying system we use, hotlapping or online qualifying session or something different. We haven't decided that yet but we will do it asap so you can start practicing.
Server limits to 20 people who can race but sign up is still open, you will be on reserve list. There are always people who can't make to some races or drops out from whole league so people on reserve list should still have good chance to race.
But over 20 sign ups in bit over 13 hours :wow:
Drivers that are in (if you are on this list and for some reason at some point, you find out that you can't take part, please inform/pm me asap):
From race calendar, Round 1 9th November, so a bit over two weeks till start. Sign up is done on a first come, first served way so check the league section tomorrow to get a place in this league
haha, it does seem that we are getting even more T7R members taking part in this than last year (TNRL). So this is why you guys have been sucking people in all year long!?! Btw Fordie, you know where the UXRL name comes from, or who "invented" it?
There is no need to reserve numbers or anything yet. Sign up will open soon Nice to see that there is intrest for this league.
