that mean even under DRY conditions there's OIL going back to the surface reducing the available grip, add rain to that and it's just CRAZY

and about Gilles, yeah he would have raced in those conditions but it was when there was nothing safe in F1. Security is the top priority in racing nowadays

for once i totally agree with the running start think about it, first race ever in horrible conditions(just look at the safety car water projections..) with a car full of fuel on new tarmac(with oil coming back to the surface), imagine T3 there would have been a huge wreck.

i'm still saying its both drivers fault just look at Daredevil replay on youtube. Why the hell would webber stay there when vettel was way faster. Had he got back to the normal line he would probably have been able to either cut inside and try to get the position back or vettel would have missed the turn. Webber lack of reaction is partly what caused the crash. Anyway it's not like it was the first time webber did an overly defensive move on someone.
