Quote from tristancliffe :They'll wear the tyres more with 80 extra horsepower, and lugging the extra weight (or rather the higher CoG and unfavourable weight distribution) will also slow them in the corners and increase tyre wear. Couple that with one of the KERS drivers being as hard on rear tyres as G. Villeneuve and you have a recipe for not being on the podium... imo

As passing is almost impossible (unless you're a Schumacher, but not the younger brother) then KERS isn't really needed to gain or defend places. I think it's mad they've kept it on for the meeting.

lol @ the tyres thing

Man the fox server has WAY too much slot, it's pretty much impossible to do a race without being hit atleast once on a full 32 FOX race especially when anyone can join. Also I start a vote to kick a crasher i instantly get kicked too. When the server is not overpopulated it's very nice, lots of good racers and great races so please, please! change the server to 20slot maximum!

Quote from Töki (HUN) :Vettel got 10 positions penalty for next race because he was driving on 3 wheels and because of his accident with Kubica. :hide:

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/3/9098.html

They want more overtake but as soon as there is an incident they punish people... F1 stupidity for the win!!

Good setups give you the potential to be faster but that dosen't mean you're gonna go faster.

Quote from ice63de :Sorry but you are totally wrong!

ABS is very important on wet, icy and heavy snow. Because it allows to fully push the breaks without locking the tieres and you can still stear the car under breaking and reduce the chance to spin. The only disadvantage of ABS is a increased breaking distance in dry conditions.

You may mixed ABS up with ESP (DTC) on icy/heavy snow. ESP should be disabled in these conditions. Read your car's operating manual.

True ABS is good on the wet and dry(altought i've never experienced it even under heavy breaking situation(went to a race track with my mom's 06 civic) but on ice/snow it's scary, it feels like you don't control whats happening with the brakes and on ice it feels like the car will never stop. But i guess for an average driver they are still beter then normal brakes

Quote from BlueFlame :How can ABS be a nuisence? It's a life saver and only kicks in when you need it so it's impossible for it to become a nuisence.... Your cars ecu must be ****in crazy.

sorry dude but abs on icy/heavy snow condition is bs, i can do alot better without it. It's not bad on dry/wet condition but i still prefer using "my own" foot to brake.

And i really don't see why ABS would not work in reverse... it's kinda useless though lol

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :But it also means the braking distances are even shorter, which means less overtaking.

means more mechanical grip + less air turbulence when following a car = easier overtakes

P.S. Man those F1 are sooooooo ugly(well the wings atleast)

Lol i trully love all of you retarded hamilton haters(i'm not a Hamilton fanboy or a Ferrari hater btw), yes he made a mistake, yes he pushed kimi wide but in 15years of watching F1 i've never seen a penatly for a move like that(without contact that is). And the penalty to Bourdais(haha i was right..) was retarded... but then again it's the FIA so..
