Ok thanks for the answers guys. I really hope some capable guy will do a new tv director or even the LFS devs include some sort of TV director in thr game it self!
So i was trying to do custom onboard cameras on TV director, i did add the line 0.6U=cvw and did the said cvw7 folder, i added the XXX_incar/front/rear.cvw files and put the car name instead of the X's. What i dont get is how am i supposed to do those 3 custom cameras ? The only one that seems to work is the front that gives me the custom camera i set in lfs itself. Am i missing something ?
With older tracks i meant their old layout not their graphics... They can be maybe adjusted graphically and stuff but keeping the old layout. That was the suggestion.
I think it's a good idea, like actual tbos but with a bit more hp, weight reduction, maybe a bit larger tyres. Not really sure about the adjustable wing and the tyres. Btw the gtr restriction doesnt really make the restricted car so equal to the tbo (even if the idea wasn't to have more tbo equal cars) since they still have slicks which makes them rockets in corners and snails in straights cuz the lack of power, in multiclass servers racing restricted xfrs or ufrs with xrt for example is a pain because you get such a gap whenever power is needed but then they pass you in corners in a contiuous loop where you can't really do much about it. Also, no the wing in xrt doesn't work, the feel in corners is thanks to stickier and wider tyres and wider car.
So the idea is the ability to allow the use of older version tracks besides all the new stuff that is present in the current version already. Don't know how doable that is but I think that racing in them without the need of the use of other lfs versions wouldn't be that bad. As far as i know the tracks that would make more sense to add would be older blackwood and older westhill since they changed quite a bit in time.
Ok but wich car ? Btw the ((!)) Indicates that the handbrake is engaged, it disengages automatically as soon as you move the car. About the gears, it could be that you are forgetting the clutch maybe ? Or maybe it's the mrt in wich you have to downshift to put in 1st
Doesn't that happen because the driven wheels (in this case the rears) are always going to spin with a certain velocity no matter what, while the front non driven ones just take more to spin at the same speed ? I don't know if what i typed here has some sense lol
Well my laptop has got an amd e2-7110 running at 1.8ghz, 4gbs of ram at 800mhz and integrated radeon r2 graphics with 512mb of dedicated ram. Of course it doesn't go 60 fps smooth all time but it runs. It struggles the most with updated maps like westhill and black wood but i still manage to race after the first fps drops
You have only 10 laps with fox on Rockingham international, you can't really think that the others were able to do those times in their first 10 laps tbh. Practice more i guess
