FXR skin now is updated but with same name and uploaded, if you have downloaded it but want the "new" one delete it from "skins" folder of lfs and "skins_dds" folder so that when you put it back the dds is updated.
By seeing the picture, you put the car template in the wrong directions hence why it looks all off. You can see how the text that you thought would be on rear bumper is on the rear quarter.
To fix this help yourself with the masterskinnerz kits here http://www.barkingpig.org/msz/pages/kits.php, they have different useful layers like wireframe and blackmask. Another thing to keep in mind is stretching, every car has a different amout of stretching in the final result so what you see on the image editor is often not how it will look like in the final result have a look here: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/64975-The-Stretching-of-Skins
The procedure to put a skin into cmx is the same as in lfs, you put the skin in data>skins then in cmx you select the car and the skin that should show up.
:)I'm guessing you mean GAME password, if so, click on your username on the top of the page to bring down the list, then go into "personal details" and there you should find passwrod changer for both WEB and GAME passwords. Hope it helps
When I first went to chose a number to use in LFS, I went for 24 as it's my day of birth. One day tho there was a league where you needed sign up and the number 24 was taken, so I went for 54 as the 5 is a mirrored 2 in a seven segment display. But yea i don't really have a number with much of a meaning yet
SSDs are usually the way to go with modern heavy games. At this time I don't think you would benefit much from putting LFS on an ssd instead of a relatively good HDD. Of course, in doubt just chuck into an ssd, it's not a really heavy program by the time you download it. The big update, that will bring newer graphics with most likely heavier textures and more game features that will make the game heavier, will happen maybe this year or later, might make you desire LFS on an ssd more compared to hard disks. Hope this helps.
Also, I don't think this forum zone "Car setups" is suited for this thread
Apparently there's no way to set the date of birth ? In settings there's an option to show your birthday and age but as it's not set it disables itself after applying. I don't know if it's due to that or the birthday setting is just not present, I can't seem to find it anywhere.
So I noticed that while exiting lfs' window by clicking on it's icon, the perspective of the sound acts as if it stops right where it was a moment before exiting (like going in shift U mode) from lfs as said. This however does not happen while exiting lfs window while clicking on another opened program or alt-tabbing.
Here's a video of what I mean (yes it's crap quality but you can hear the bug): https://youtu.be/hCOsd-wa4Ic
In bf1 I think I have encountered a similar bug. I guess "setup changes needed" remains as long as the setup after changes is different from the starting setup.
https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/94763-FOX-tyre-pressure-bug this ?
Also a suggestion i have is for setups order, the ability to have different folders for each track and have the ability to create folders in case of layouts or different kind of setups in general.
