For reference, I'm 17 years old (this was my fathers account) & I am unable to open a PayPal account at the moment, so this was my only purchase method. Thank you if any one responds.
I'm attempting to purchase S3 with a Visa gift card. When on the purchase screen I get the errors "3D-Authentication failed. This vendor's rules require a successful 3D-Authentication." as well as "Payment status: Rejected after failing additional checks (The number of authorisation attempts exceeds the limit.)" on LFS itself. If anyone knows how I can resolve this, that would be a big help.
(This is my fathers account and he has since has passed, I am his son)
I just installed LFS onto my computer and want to add skins into my game. I opened the file location but couldn't find the "data" folder and don't know where to put skins. Much help if you know, thanks.
Can lapper be configured to manage a multi-class start?
What I'd like is to have all the cars enabled and as an example have say 3-fxo's, 4-fox's & 4-bf1's on the track then a) have the fxo's start first - third, the fox's fourth - seventh, the bf1's eighth - eleventh b)in order as per their qualify positions within their own grouping and c) held back from starting until the previous group is a reasonable time away.
Yes I know this puts the fast cars at the back but it's the hardest so I thought I would at least ask... besides a normal qualify puts the fast cars up front - where's the fun in that
I agree about the scirocco, I get that it helps prove the physics if a real car with real values can handle like the real thing and turn similiar lap times AND I get that it can be a real help during real life testing (ie. uni. students involved with the fsae mrt project can get more testing time). But kinda breaks down if we aint got a real track, now I'll never get to drive monaco so really it's a "fantasy" track for me too.
This may sound harsh & I don't mean it to because I really admire the devs. for the employment they have created for themselves. But I wish I could get a paying job that allowed me to miss, move, change deadlines like they can.
Ya I was talking to another supplier today as well and got the same warning about phenom's in general, he's gonna quote a different system (new specs to follow). Also there is still the discrepancy between cad systems and gaming systems based on graphic cards.
Says though that 2 cards are needed to run 3 monitors though, makes sense (I just didnt think it through ...1 card=2 monitors so 2 cards=4)
BTW thanks guys for the input I really appreciate it
The company I'll buy from is a cad re-seller so they know cad machines as well...got the specs today, opinions please

As I understand there can be a big difference in the cards...vector graphics / raster graphics. Also OpenGL / DivX too I think?? Is there a good card that does both well.
so...looking to buy a new system and i got a question:
There used to be an optimal gaming system and an optimal cad system & these were not the same beast (graphics card or something iirc). Is there a difference now? I want a system to be able to run LFS is full pretty mode and to use as a cad system (revit if ya wanna know). Everywhere I look I find specs for a cad system or a gaming system but I want to do both. Any gaming/cad guys out there have any ideas.
(I have my guy pricing a system that he says should do both - I'll post the specs when I get them)
