Quote from DaveWS :Just the default set with soft tyres and 4 L fuel. Reduced castor as well to 8 or 9, can't remember.

Wheel settings and stuff I think are important too, I have my wheel set to 210 degrees in control panel, with 100 FFB in game and 0 damping, rotation thingy is off.

I have 720 in profiler and 990 ingame rotation..

Must say this game feels very convincing after 50+ laps of practice..

So I`ve been playing a lot Gran Turismo (1,2,3 and 4) in the past. How does GT5 compare to Prologue in terms of physics? I heard so many bad/good things about GT5.
Fearing that I might get very disappointed with the game, so please share some of Your experiences (good or bad) with the game so far.

I am hoping Webber can pull something out the hat for tommorows race, not entirely sure he can, best whishes to him nonetheless..

One of the more exiting qualifications today, not that there have been any non exiting ones this year.

Tommorows race looks very promising..

Webber is the man to beat, and I hope he does well, this man deserves the title, not more than the rest, but he deserves it nonetheless..

Quote from DavidTiger :How can you have a limiter on the demo cars though?

Unless the FBM has one, haven't used it for a while

You cant as far as I know, only FO8 and BF1 has pit limiter within the single seater class

Quote from Mackie The Staggie :You're forgetting a simple, yet a very important factor here.

It's because it was Schumacher who made the pass and because of peoples bias towards him which makes them forget past events, much like last weeks witch-hunt against Ferrari which any other team in the same situation would have done the exact same thing...

...but then I suppose it's just fashionable to be anti Ferrari/Schumacher these days

Believe You me, I did not forget about the factor You just pointed out, I just left it out for others not so narrow minded people like You to point out.

I agree with You fully

I remember last years Brazilian GP, Webber forced Kimi off in the very same manner with the same speed give or take. Only difference there, was the small gap of grass from the track to the wall. Not making it any less dangerous than the MSC vs RB incident. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buArrMpQgGo

How is it worse when MSC does something similar, I cant quite comprehend. I thought racing was all about pushing the car, yourself and your competitors to the limit within the rules obviously.

Quote from zeugnimod :He should have asked "Am I the first driver now"?

Ha ha so true..
Webber deserves the title this year, hes funny, talented, highly underrated and has the looks of a thug, kinda like one of the Dalton brothers from Lucky Luke!

Schumacher didnt deserve the 10 grid penalty, its just absurd in my view.

Looking forward to Spa, Go Webber

Just watched some Megane racing the other day on Eurosport. I realised it was You leading, and winning that race, only watched the last 5 min of the race, but really good job Nick. Cars look fantastic.

It wasnt Webbers fault, it could never ever end up being his fault, so all this Webber bashing isnt justified in my opinion. He had every right to do what he did.

At this point off the season, I will never view Vettel in the same way. Blatantly pointing and spinning his finger at his head, indicating what an idiot Webber is, was not called for at all, and made himself appear as a major idiot.

If You were to say, that Webber wasnt very generous, with the space left for Vettel, yes absolutely correct, but still not illegal or dirty, just firm and hard.

Considering the 2 are team mates, its a 80/20 incident, where Vettel has majority of the blame

Quote from JCTK :but as we have seen throughout the season so far, the guys that pitted early for fresh tyres would gain grounds/position on cars that decided to stay out on older tyres...

And I believes Button was trying to drive "smart" again by keeping a safe distance behind Vettel, wasn't sure if that was exactly a great idea through...

both McLaren couldn't show their true pace for the first 40 laps that's for sure. And after that they've been told to back off.

Yes I agree.

Button seemed to be able to close the gap whenever he wanted to, but choose the "smart" style, by not burning his tires in the dirty air of Hamilton and Vettel. But shame on me for ever suggesting that Button was at least equally as fast as Hamilton this race.

And Devildare, I dont know what race You watched, but I watched the Turkish GP, seriously...

Quote from Intrepid :He wasn't quicker than Hamilton at all, what you on about?

I think the fuel thing was a coded message that Lewis seem to get and Button ignored. Fair play to Button for giving it a go, but you can understand Hamilton's annoyance (which was displayed with the move back at T1)

Well Hamilton wasnt faster than Button at all this race, so what You on about?

It looked like, it was Button who was the faster car on the track, but kept his distance to Hamilton, Vettel and Webber. He continued to set fastest lap times in the race. So he must have been faster or at least equally fast as Hamilton.

But nevertheless, it was still an interesting race.

Quote from Intrepid :Has to be said that Hamilton looked like he really didn't care if he took Button out at T1 (which he nearly did). Just didn't look happy at all with the team and the fuel call. I think there was some coded message in there from the team about 'not racing' and Button shocked him when he made his move. Fair play to Button for giving it a go, but Hamilton is a nut job so he will push it back.

On the 'incident'. What shall we name it? Turkeygate? Vettelgate? lol Vettel's biggest mistake was his gestures following the crash because that gives an insight into what he really thinks about Webber. It was 100% Vettel's fault, but I can't help Webber should've just conceded because Vettel has a habit of doing weird things when other cars are near him. RBR seem to be makingt he same mistakes as they did in 2009.

Yes excatly what I was thinking. Hamilton did hit Button in turn 1 as far as I could tell.
Button was clearly told to back off, and hold his position, too bad for him, he was faster than Hamilton today.

The incident
It was Vettels fault, he turned into Webber obviously, however Webber could have, but choose not to give any more room than necessary.

Thx for practice session. Its very clear these sessions are much needed for many drivers. I almost lost my patience out there, so many crashes and safety car sessions. How many laps during safety car? 25 laps or so..
Not really enjoyable

A suggestion, open up the pits sooner, and dont let us run after SC car for 5-7 laps, thats just wrong

Hmm, I think Hamilton made the correct call at t1 lap 1, giving the fact, that if he would have forced his way into t1, they would have been 3 wide and it would most likely result in a collision for Webber, Vettel and himself. He just didnt have the overlap to even try to attempt a move on the inside of Webber.
