There will soon be a pack with a selection of the best skins from the people from Master Skinnerz. This pack will contain enough skins for all the AI cars. (hundreds of very nice skins!)
same sort of problem for me, I hope my comment could help other people with an ATI card.
=========================================
I wanted to by a 19" widescreen monitor, which runs on a max res of 1440x900. I wanted to test if that works on my graphics card, a ATI Radeon 9600TX (OEM).
First I didn't even get windows to that resolution.
-> I downloaded the unofficial Omega ATI drivers (with CCC, tray tools), then I could set Windows to 1440x900 resolution.
Then I tried in LFS, but there I could not get anymore then 1280x1024 (the same in LFS Viewer)
-> I changed in cfg.txt -> (viewer_cfg.txt for LFS Viewer)
Screen Info 0 60 1440 900 and
INFO_F12 1 0 1440 900
Now I can select 1440x900 in LFS and LFS viewer (the FPS almost the same as 1280x1024)
Just red this forum. Now I totally agree with you guys who do not like that 'tuningkit'. I have made that years ago. The pixel qaulity of it was way better then how it looks on the screenshots. I think in all those years many users have used it.
But plz tell what you think of the following interiors I made recently:
For the FXO, FXO GTR, FZ50, FZ50 GTR, LX4, LX6, XR GT, XR GT Turbo and XR GTR.
Its also depending if you have an intercooler turbo (most turbo have intercooler)'.
In reallife there is also the problem for the driver of high temps inside the car (F1, DTM, WRC) because these produce very high temps.
Then you could also implemend the effect of brakediscs that catch fire in case of a sudden stop of the race of (for example) a F1 car. When the car has no extra lap after a race to cool down the car, or when a pit-stop takes too much time)
Don't exactly know what you mean, but search for threads where this already was been discussed (a few times). (Reload function in CMX viewer does not work for in/exterior files, if that's what you trying to ask.)
Think its a good idea, think it will be allready done by someone. Would be really nice when you have a real BMW Sauber wheel, and then connect the LEDs/gauges on that wheel
Couldn't find another thread to post it, so started a new one. I made new brighter dashboard lights (works for all cars) and also changed the 'tracklights' into LEDs.
(it took me some time to find out how to save transparant dds files)
available @ - download, extract (overwrite) in data/dds folder (the original files are in the original zip file from the LFS site)
Updated (some adjustments) the realistic adds for patch U, unzip and overwrite in data/dds folder.
Replaces 10 of the 22 files with the track advertisements. For Blackwood, Kyoto and Aston.
