I don't think you fully understand the concept of reflections. It's more than just flipping the image around. But I'm digging the sepia effect.

Not everyone has a super fast connection. Or a big screen. And we really don't need to see the skin file, if we're not interested in downloading it. So it would be cool to leave the skin file in the attachments, and post previews of max 800px wide.

Another preview for a skin.

Phew, finally got this finished.. A replica of the Crawford STi time attack car, nicknamed 'Tony the Tiger'. There are some goofs, mainly because of the XFR bodyshape, but overall I think it's pretty good replica. And before you ask, I left the Subaru vinyls of because this is XFR.

On a side note, would be nice to see this and the Ken Block skin racing together..

I'm not really into the fake lights, but if you like them, good for you. I personally would get rid of them and maybe leave the tapes there. Two things though, that I really think should be fixed. Try to move the Falken logos so that they won't get distorted by the body shape. Also, you have gone over the bonnet with the carbon fiber. Maybe give the Blitz logo some color to make it stand out a bit more...
But overall, it's coming along great! Looking forward to the finished skin.

Well, after Electrik Kar/unseen released the High-Res Trax vol.1.1, South City and Fern Bay have looked, well, a bit blurry and mushy. And as no one has released a hi-res texture pack for SC or FB, I thought I'd finally do something about it. I started with the pic folder, and went with the adverts first. There are still two ads (lfs.de and racesimcentral.com) that I haven't done, so I'm not going to release my textures yet. But worry not, I hope to upload them by the end of the weekend. After I'm done the SC ads, I'll do the FB ones. Then propably move on to the dds folder.


Anyways, here's some sneak peeks/previews for you to drool over or whatever:cyclops: Pics are 1500x1600px, and a bit over a meg each.

To cry or to laugh, I don't know... Oh well, I'll go with the latter

Shadow kits, or shadow layers are simply put on top of your skin. To do this, take the default skin, put it on a layer above your skin, and change the default skin's layer mode to 'multiply'. Of course, you need a graphics program that supports layers and layer modes.

Note: Master Skinnerz pro kits already have shadow layers.

Did this for a preview pic for my new skin. Tried an edit á la Caoz, and I think it came out very nice.

A new XFG from me. I spent some time in London last summer, and this energy drink, "V", caught my eye at some service station. Tasted good too.. Finally got around doing a skin with it. I did the V-logo myself, because I couldn't find a hi-res anywhere. It's not traced, so it's not 100% correct, but I like the outcome.

BTW, does anyone have a dirt-layer for XFG?
