Screamer 4x4 was so far the most realistic 4x4 game i have played todate

lol i been playing LFS for years now and the game has started to become boring a limited for me but thats NO excuse to have this kind of stuff to be brought into such a great RACING SIM. Personaly i loved street legal 1/2 for them exact options but the driving and racing was appaling.

Allso i know quiet a few race cars that have differnt ecu maps and boost curves for qly/wet/race and it works well for them but thats still no reason to have such options in lfs.

I would love a game where i could map the injector dutie and fully program a cars ecu and boost curves and do everything that you can in real life but im affraid a game with that much tuning content would lack in other aera's IE the fun side of driving.

hey guys i was messing around with old games last night and found sports car gt and rembered just how fun it used to be. anyways after alot of stuffing around i finaly got to load in once and couldnt stand the gfx

why dose the entier V8 Supercar race serise cars use them with a live axel????

if done properly a locker can be fast its just unforgiving to heavy feet drivers

i race my car on the track with a locker and yes it is a handfull but i would never go back to a lsd again

oh and RL drifters dont use lockers they use 2way LSD's

lol my RB30ET has a 6,500 limiter on it

displacement is what brings revs up or down

and yes sr20det's and RB26detts rev higher but do u notice the D that helps with revs so dose smaller displacement and such to allow safer higher rpm

nice work mate my only susjestion this far is to get lots or practice offline with RWD cars befor trying them online when i first started the RWD cars would allways slip unexpectedly and i would lose it or crash (prolly cause im a agressive driver) but lots or practice and you will be able to catch it befor it even slides

personaly i think to fix the issue on the roads is re testing every 5 years

and mandatory Advanced driver training every 3 years (ie learning how to controle a car when its sliding and such. and allso make more place's people can go to have fun in their cars

lerts i susjest u drive every car on a track u know like Blackwood thats what i did so i could get a feel for the car and after that get in a car ur comfatable with and try the new tracks

no matter what car im drifting rear tyre pressure has to be MAXED but the FZ5 will have red tyres in 1/2 laps and the XRT with the right set u can do 2/5 laps without them being overly hot.

i normaly keep drifting when they are red and just be more gental with the car

i didnt read the hole thread but i dont agree with it being irresponsibilty i think the main reason young drivers crash more then older ones is when we are young we follow the rules we are tought and this cause's crash's. personaly i have been driving cars since i was 7 didnt get my licence till i was 22 and i was not ready for the amount of dangerous older drivers out their in brisbane alone the majorty of people tail gating speeding and changing lanes without singals and such are OLDER people but young people dont know that this happends and cause's crash's.I have had many close calls due to people turning into my lane cuting me off without signals and other bad driving habbits now i refuse to drive my car on public roads unless i have to.

BTW i have never crashed a car that I have Owned and im 26

these young HOONS they call them in australia are normaly only trying to make up for their own inseciruty's or they are just show off wankers ALOT of my friends dont do stupid stuff in public aera's
if you want to do dumb stuff on the roads at least take it to industrial aera when no one is around!

personaly im no alien but i found that i wasent exactly that fast i used to do 1:28 with the XRT on Bl but after about 7 months of drifting the car i tryed again and was able to do a 1:24. So many thing can make u faster i find car controle is a major part for me

im disabled i was lucky enough to be born with 3 legs and u dont see me trying to take advantage of this dissabilty

well i understand ur what ur saying but alot of the 9/8 sec drag cars i see run 2 wastegates on the 2nd dump pipe into the atmosphear

either wind or ur exit was differnt or ur mid corner speed was differnt

i know sometimes i will have to change my lines depending on how agressive im driving

lol na i did mean 2 wastegates on the 1 turbo but the ones im talking about are EXTERNAL ones that mount on the side of the dump pipe from the turbo i see it done on ALOT of high HP cars cause they flow so much air that one 54mm wastegate cant release the presure quick enough
