With the new night mod just come out, why dont we see lights which shine out, not which just light up,
Think we should now have lights which shine out at a distance, and if someone cuts you up and you flash lights, they would be able to see them in mirror if looking,
Flat shifting if slower. If you using a manual cluch, its quicker to cut the throttle and change gear very fast, double cluching is also quicker for changing gear as it cuts the sycro cone on the gear box, thus making shifts quicker,
I have the ATI Radeon 9250 SE 256MB and i find the card alright. Live for speed i have everything turned up, and only face problems when servers run Auto X with around 500 objects all close together, apart from that i find it a good card, and it can easily run LFS on 1280 X 1024,
( Processer = Athlon 64 3000)
Also, what is the full settings for LFS, could any one post a screen shot, as i think i have all the settings up full, but unsure about a couple of options, cheers,
I think rev limiters breaking is a bad idea, as they hadly ever do it.
What some cars do, is if your thrashing your car way to much, they sometimes kick it out of gear insted of limiting the revs (found this on my friends Alfa 156 2.0).
I have used my Driving Force Pro for over 4 months and had no problems. Only problem i had was the DFP would not work, and this was due to the drivers. All i did was re-install them and was fine.
NOTE: Some people say the DFP does stop working on the PC, and all you need to do is plug it into your PS2, and it should be fine.
Why dont you use a wheel on your knee or lap. It aint the best way, but wheels are far easer to use, and i have found that myself, but it depends on the user,
Yeah i know. But i like to give a car slighty into redline. My Lexus Is200 Auto 05 Plate (I know, but i cant be arsed changing gears @ weekends, drive van all week long) changes gears at 6250rpm (just at red line) but if i engage sports mode it revs untill 6500rpm before changing gear.
Anyways, just a little info to prove some rev limiters are only hindering your cars preformance
