I say have some cars with rev limiters, and some without.

I like to give a car a good hard thrashing, i dont want some crappy limiter stoping me right before redline

Yes, i agree. But i would also like to see a fully auto box. Ie one with kick down. Then we could have races such as Automatic races, which i think would be quite fun.

I am so keen on the idea of fully auto boxes, as no other sim game features these, not even GT4.

I disagree with RPM limiters. It prevents you from pushing the car to where YOU think its limits are.

I agree with the lights, but i dont think a RPM limiter should be there, but thats my personal opinion

Yes i know, also change modeling of cluch so you dont press it fully.

I use a pedal for handbrake, and its a pain when i just want to slow down enough with it (banger racing mainly).

I know some of these will of been mentioned, but just making sure.

1. Use a full cluch - When you turn Auto-Cluch off, the cluch still saves you from stalling, so therefore this feature is still turned on. Lets see the cars stalling in S2 full, as you cannot fully turn off this feature.

2. Clcuch point 2 - Lets see the cars have different biting points. This would be more real as cars have different bitting points. Ths would make people learn certain cars, and i think would make a good feature.

3. Handbrake - (Unsure about this point, but still put it) Why dont we have a handbrake like a cluch ie you can press it slightly to brake, or press it hard to skid. Like i said, this is prob a usless point!!

I have the same problem. Only one light on the wheel, wheel goes from Lock to Lock during a self cab test (but only 200 degree mode).

I thought it was the wheel so logitech sent me a wheel, but oh no joy.

Any ideas.

There would be one problem in real life, Dyno runs. The wheels would be spinning at say 100MPH, but the car wouldnt be moving, thats maybe why we dont use it in real life????


Anyways, i think it should be changed, and its not a sim if its in the future, becuase nobody knows what will be in the future!!

Very good point. I kept doing this untill i worked out that 80 KHM is around 48MPH, it is a thing which i think needs to be done.

Come to use my DFP today and the light which shows power aint comming on. Plugged in and everything, checked connections but no LED to say there is power to it. Cant use it for LFS, just wondering if anyone has any solutions, and only had it for just over a month.

Im very disapointed, to say i spent £88 and now i cant use it, and i go away on holiday thursday morning :S

Also, its not a UK adaptor, its a Euro one, meaning i have to use a plug to convert it

I think this is a bad idea.

its a sim game, therefor its up to you to remember what speed & braking point to use when doing whatever speed.


We dont have these in cars do we, when going down a long road at 70mph and then comes a corner, Slow Down, Corner to be taken at 50MPH max.



Its a bad idea, everyone would be rather good at driving, and its fun when your trying to beat someone down a long stright and you both miss the braking points, i think it would ruin the Sim element of the game

In LFS at the moment, if you drive at high revs does this waste more fuel, or is it a speed element ie driving at 110mph down a track wastes more fuel than driving 80mph down a track, dont matter if your at 7000rpm constant or 5000rpm??

I use the "Ball of my hand" to spin the wheel if you get me, find this is easy to turn the car quickly in one direction if needed. I also just use one hand on top of wheel, and if more lock is needed the ball of my hand is used

I know this has already maybe been mentioned, but what do you think to cars overheating, loss off power and stalling.

Say, if you thrash your car around for 10 laps, doing very high revs, the engine should blow up, or overheat or something.

Also, make the cluch so the car stalls. Even with autocluch off, you still cant stall cars as the autocluch saves the engine ???

Maybe it aint a good idea, let us know
