I have searched this, but i tried to edit outguage settings to cfg.txt this morning, but it won't save changes? Tried save, save as, but no luck.

I've checked the permissions on the file, thats not the problem, any ideas? Editing with notepad.

So basically we're asking for naaaaaaaawz here, just not calling it naaaaaaawz?

What combo we using? If its XFG, then i may be able to share a pretty much finished team skin? Just need a race number for each racer, and a colour, going to do wing mirrors different colours for each of us. Here it is anyway:



Gonna crack on with the other demo cars (shouldn't be too hard), then go on to skinning my fave, the FOX.

interesting, especially for all the dorifo kingus. Nothing better than a car smoking round a corner on the governer pouring out a plume of black smoke!

However, think of the advantages - extra few laps between stops!

I've got an R440 wheel, which does the job, tis not the best but it works. Only problem I have with it is that the FF does not 'do' much.

I can feel the resistance when cornering, but can't feel shakes over kerbs, or when i hit something.

Settings are CP about 60%, in game about 35% - any more than that i get major speed wobbles down the straights!

Anyone got any suggestions?

Could be useful in the pits, after working out a setup, put the car on a dyno so you can work out optimum change points etc? Or thinking about it, engine won't change will it, so just a picture of the torque/power curves for each car.

Now there's another idea. A dyno type system, so you can strap your car to a virtual rolling road, and get a Torque Curve output, with a power curve, so u can work out gear change points, power bands etc.

I have a request for a mod if anyone has the time and energy.

Basically all I want is a much bigger shift light, like the red one on the dash, or virtual clocks.

Never really noticed it being an issue before, but on WEI at the limit, i could do with something noticable in the corner of my eye, instead of having to look for it for the perfect shift point.

Shouldn't have thought it would be tooooo hard to do, but more advanced than I, says I!

Hi, just wondering if theres any way to extract the setup from a car in an SPR? I know all the info is there, as you can test drive.

Just that i was TD'ing the WR for FOX @ WE Int, and i'd like to get the set so i can practise more in single player before hot lapping.

Anyone any ideas, or know where i can get that setup?

I'll have a bash at skinning, forum modding if you want - reasonable in XRT, and XFG round blackwood which i suppose you'll be doing most of. I do most of my driving in Fox @ BLGP, but whatever. Anything specific you want for skins?

Other times are when i've survived all the T1 heros and doing reasonably well by my standards (read - there are people behind me on the same lap), then there's a restart!
