I don't want to be skeptical or rude, it's nice to hear from scawen, but after reading his long posts we basically know nothing new :-( We're back in point "early 2009" :-(

Will 3 - 6 months global ban be sufficient? 30 days are imo not very long :-/

It should be graded by level of rules breakage. 30 days "minor" and harder 30+, 60/90 days..? :-/

And about pausing, I know it's harsh sudden pause, so it should be gradually stopping and gradually starting when PAUSE is enabled/disabled.
If dsc will be happening too many times, you can choose to ignore this guy...
But I think pausing is not the best solution :-( /ruins fun/

E: Rejoining with other teammate would be possible if server knew which driver belongs to which car ;-) so Team roster would be needed to fill in before race. Whole tracker implementation.. hehe

@TVE: Giving them +extra lap on their account or +2 does not worth it, i'd say. If it would happened under blue flag, +3 laps should be given

What about server being able to pause whole game, till user reconnects? (Selectable via bit and being able to "ignore player's LFS_USERNAME disconnects")? Solution has been found

Not true at all! There are many beginners leagues in LFS. Many people who joined us were pretty new to lfs and got fed up of public racing, cause it just sux. I don't race on public servers at all. It has no worth at all! Try to look around for other then public races ;-)

Basically communication flow went from persons to persons (devs) into persons to wall. All being said is, that lack of communication from dev's side is killing LFS.
I've never seen a patch or something similar since I am here, so it's kind of a unpleasant to see that devs turned away from us.
I'd be very delighted If this attitude from them will change to one, that was in past. (from what I've heard/read, sadly never experienced :-( )

I just had a nice racing, when I wanted to make a screenshot of guys battling in front of me. So I pressed SHIFT instead of CTRL + S to make a screenshot. (me stupid)
Is there a way to remap this "by default" to something else? For example to SHIFT + L to spectate?

Very true! So everyone who added here at least 1 post should connect to server X (give one free) at time Y (some good +-CET time) and we could have a good race. For example MiniGTRs @ KY2 :-)

Yep, correctly stated Degats everything. The best thing you can do, is to have 2 installs. I play on windows instance and do some random visits or just stopping by for some short server invitations on linux. (main OS)
