I've already seen people who started from nothing and they are really fast now. They improved in AB league =)

This is true only from part. If you really looking for good racing I agree that you should get S2 license, and then join league. Don't race on public. It's good only for a few days/weeks. Then it becomes very boring. The best racing you can get is in (proper) leagues. ;-)

I've just payed 12 pounds for upcoming S3 license. I hope that money will be transferred to S3 very soon... I hope..

Hello! I am having a little issue on my dualboot laptop. I am running LFS in Windows XP with S2 on. Is it possible to use 'same lfs "folder"' via my linux OS? I hate when I have to reboot to XP just for some little thing in LFS going online and then back to my beloved OS.

Is there a way to use lfs in such a way? Or should I just run separate unlocked lfs `instances/folders` for each system?

Just a wild guess what Scawen 'forced' to rethink the physics. Rain compatibility with tires, surface and stuff around it? It would make a sense after all..

I am not posting very often about LFS, but I think, that Scawen _should_ tell us about time horizont, when he expects to be done all the stuff he works on...
Just like "It will be done in another 2 years." or "I assume if everything will go fine, you can expect release like in 2 months.." (or early 2009)

I believe, people will start to think about braking earlier / harder and take more care of own's car then now. Now, you can do almost anything without hard consequences.

I am always driving cars as they are meant to be driven. If it has H-gate, then I use shifter, if it has manual clutch + paddles, then I use these. I never use something else. I prefer "realism" here instead of being fast and not enjoying driving that much. I don't know many people who drive FZR with manual clutch + H shifter. Most do paddles + maybe clutch...

So, slower but more enjoyable for me

edit: On topic: Yes, I use wheel rotation degree setting as lfs writes in "garage" + setting it in profiler too ;-)

Just a thought, weren't hi-res skins considered as getting something for extra donations? Or am I only putting it for myself that way? You pay extra - you get extra (hi-res skins). Discussion over, it was decided that way a long time ago ;-)

So, if you want to donate, "buy" hi-res skins. It was the main intention for devs to get extra money.. My guess.

What about free voluntary donations instead? :-) I think that you can always send them money if you want that much ;-)

Some word from devs during holidays would be very nice to read. People (students) have more time now to moan and so on.. and crowds demand fresh information!
