i have been reading all this bullshit idiots have posted on this thread. drifting will be/ is a recognised sport in most parts of the world. online servers are more often than not stated that it is drift or not and im not saying im against circuit racing i can do both and i wouldnt say im exactly the best. the growing change in motorsports ssuch as drifting will always change and on lfs its definelty much cheaper than doing it in real. i have watched and drifted in real life on a real track with real judges. i have drifted and ciruit raced on lfs on a track with other people. tsuchiya revolutionised the sport drifting is today and im sorry for the tossers who think that drifting is just another fad that will pass over unlike circuit racing , it wont and it will contiue to develop SO DEAL WITH IT!!

hey i have been racing on LAN via hamachi with my other computer and they are not networked. when my other computer joins my server on here it says my ip is not valid. i have had a dedicated server running now and again and ever since ive been using that no one has been able to connect to me via hamachi . help?

ok so ive just got a dedicated server running on the demo servers. whenever someone comes on the experience the worst lag ever- long as 30 seconds every 10- 15 seconds. my ping , well the max i can get it to is about 20, some servers are runing 500! how do i make it better?

oh ok i have downloaded it now and i can run servers. my next question is:

when i get the server running it displays my player name '[TDJ]NZLPWR' as the host so when i want to join i have to change my name to something else... so can i change the name the host has?

how do i change 'HOST NAME' to TDJ Drift Session ?

hey. ive just been thinking about these things:
tyres-when u burnout bits of tyre fly off or when drifting you can shred the tyres
grass and dirt- when u go off onto the grass your car can get clogged with mud and if people run off in the same areas ,make it so it goes all boggy or worn out or something?
also smoke physics-after a big drift or burnout the smoke stays longer, when doing a burnout the smoke looks like its pouring out like in real life sorta well yeah

Well why I agree some of the sounds are not perfect and the sounds do come at wrong times etc.

This is a wip and there is a lot of time spent to create it, if you're unsatisfied with the results you can always make your own app or just not use Becky's. Rather than hop on here and criticise her work.

It's dissapointing and demotivating if ppl slag off what is in essence a good app and concept just cause it's not perfected yet, Becky is a valued contributor to the forum and may not finish the app if every demo driver criticises her work.

Offering valuable feedback is one thing, saying it sounds like Farts etc isn't
and AFAIK the sounds were from GTR2 or that maybe in the LFS Companion she wrote.

hey i just downloaded ur program. howcome after i change gear like 5 seconds after it makes a sound? maybe you should have 2 or 3 sounds only rather than sillly gunshot types.eg rev limiter pop,backfire crack and something for the shifting. it would sound much better when you drift when you hit the limiter and hear a deep couple of bangs..?just some ideas. not something id stick with though

ok i can get my server running, but how do i change the name of the server? help!

hey i have the dedicated software to make a server. i was trying to do it today but i couldnt get it to change the name of the server or the ammount of people allowd in or car types or anything. i want to make a team room say 12 players. i want it to have that lfs lapper thing set up for drifting aswell. is there anyone who can show me how to edit the code properly and get it working with lfs lapper aswell? or is there codes i can download from somewhere?
