Some comments:

When you select the controller it only has keyboard+mouse. Some drive with only a keyboard and it goes without saying that mouse drivers also use keyboard but not for steering.

And PB's measured only with minutes and seconds??

I would like to help you, but Im noob my self and having really hard to read your code.
I always use else statement to keep code readable.
I think your code is not returning the FALSE as it should and that could do that the main code continues without the header.
Try to write it with else commands and but in some debug to see what the code is doing.

Check that your 3ds Max is installed in C:\3d Studio Max\
and not in C:\Program\3d Studio Max\ or even C:\Program\Autodesk\3dsMax ...

You have to change the target to where your 3dsmax.exe is...
