Is Scawen aware of this? It makes the game 'feel' much more real. Now you can 'feel' the difference between car setups much better for example.

It is a worthy feature to implement imo!

Best configuration up untill now. However I am confident it is possible to get rid of the extra darkness and greyishness. Just waiting untill someone gets this completely right

Great idea turned into reality! Great to finally be aware of the roll of the chassis.

However if implemented in LFS it should be a selectable option. I thought about this after seeing the latest video of Force Dynamics new motion simulator. http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=37739 Your own head would already do the same and more.

Actually thinking of that. In real life when cornering hard drivers would bend their neck opposing the lateral G's. Maybe there is a way to implement this effect into this application.

Hey version 2.1 doesn't work for me anymore.

When LFS is running and a car is selected it immediatly closes again without error.

EDIT; funny I restarted LFS and now it works.

Quote from ciph :Update released and sorted out the thread content a bit.
See changelog for details.

Great thanx!

Would there be a memory adress to change the revlimiter?

Quote from Breizh :Not that much fun unless you change the rear trailing arms to something more adaptive.

Oh ok. How do I do that?

Actually I think the AE86 also has trailing arms.

(Can't wait for the new version)

BTW one of the most enjoyable tweaks for me is the XFG with RWD and about 190-200hp. Great fun, could it be the LFS hachiroku?

Hey Ciph I want to thank you for your nice work. (2100 Downloads )

And "don't get on my nuts" is perfectly understandable!

What I would like is if we could change caster and degrees of lock. This way we could get the ultimate drift cars! (also nice in combination with road tyres for the XRR of cause)

I'll be checking this thread

Yeah if it could be used in lfs as trackir alternative I'd also buy a wiimote.

I have just bought a samsung 226cw and it is much better than I expected.

However one major problem is the reds that are oversatured and orangy in wide color gamut mode, that can be disabled.

However the picture is so much nicer, however probably less accurate, that I still use it in wide color gamut mode. And normally I would prefer a more natural picture.

Conclusion;
Great monitor for the price which is really very low for such a screen. And colors can be chosen between a rich or more acurate setting. Black is very black. Overal it really is a joy to use. I have used an Eizo T965 a lot so I have good reference.

Scawen the clutch model actually produced too little heat before. You could make only bad shifts and the heat wouldn't increase more than 1-2 levels on the indicator.

In real life 3 partially bad shifts, like feeding a LITTLE throttle slightly before complete release of the clutch can already give a smell in some cars.

Now in LFS it's totally unrealistic, I can do shifts I wouldn't think of in real life and the clutch temperature stays pretty much at the lowest level all the time. (pre x35)

It's just the latest 2008 impreza model that is getting multilink rear-suspension.

However the point you are making is very valid. When, and I hope, 3d suspension modeling comes to LFS it will really make things interesting.

And Impreza's indeed have anti-dive geometry at the front suspension which is a mayor factor why they handle as they do. It prevents the driver from shifting the weight to the front wheels. This is an important reason for the push-understeer on these cars.
