Hi all ok, i have just started driving the big GTR's properly after all this time with the game lol and i love the FZR and am learning tracks as i go.

attached is a 10lap replay in SP of me on AS3(yes...THAT track) and in it i set my best time of 1:44.04(not tht good really and its lap 7 btw) i want you great people to tell me how i can better my self and achieve faster times.

sorry if this is n00by but wth is contention ratio lol

I have a 2mb virgin line-its alrite but with a full grid there is occasional stutter. but that mite just be my laptop at the same time (AMD 64 3000,128 9700, 521 ram) but i get between 30 and 50 FPS. i am thingk of upgrading it to a 4mb line. i think that would be your best bet if you choose virgin.

/OT yeah just name the setups when you get them if yu get lots and there is only a certain track rotation isnt there ne time i have been on its BL1, SO1, SO1r, FE sumthing, FE sumthing reversed, SO2, SO2R (in no order by the way)

whileim here has ne1 got a "go-Kart" like set up for the MRT,assuming one exsists lol. thanks

it was a generall lack of evry1 reacting to the yellow flag in the correctway

and of course the two lead drivers that started us all off :P

yeah it was amazingly funny watchin cars flying threw the air from my rear view mirror but evry1 restarted i think restarts should be disabled-a race is a race-we were all warned with giant YELLOW FLAG and the lil insim thing with big red arrows but noo evry1 but me shift+r'd =[

i wouldn't. I would not overtake under yellows at present but i HAVE to, to stay even marginally competitive.

lets hope Becky reads my suggestion and see if she thinks it feasible

lol- its just no one respects yellow flag-- ppl have this mentality:

i did slow(just) for that accident but i was stil caught up in it =/ it was pretty funny tho

if only there was a way to make ppl respect yellow flags-perhaps peanalise racers that overtake under yellow's with a D/T or something. can insim do that?

the X system has went off at least 3 times maby more during races, meaning no replay was recorded(or thats wat it looks like from the archive) and no points were given =[ i needed that replay lol

well the X system looks good so far-iv yet to race in it as the race was full and i got kicked from server for spectating =/ i had t make room for ppl to race even tho the race was full(now thats a bit silly)

I thought it had. hmm will there be different track roation for the bronze class? im sure its been disscussed in teh other X forum but i may as well ask here-sorry for semi-hijacking the thread lol

Ok so maby i am off on LFS tnite but i'v done that 127. ect and typed in the correct ports and passwrd but it also says:

client connect : connect failed

Ne ideas?

EDIT MKII: well i can connect to my server with the connect to specific game/main LFS server window neway and that seems to be working now. so nvm.

I also want t be able to host a didicated server on PC A and then open game (still on PC A) and play it-i have tried this but evreytime i did my lag bar went uber high and times me out =/

This debate is rather pointless. Its like the Drifters V. grippers(or w.e we call each other now) "debate", there are quite a few cruise servers but tbo only 1 or 2 are populated most of the time. There are a good few races servers-and if you really want to race on a combo but there isnt one--make one with about 12 slots on your own PC and in no time it will be full. I have been "crusing" latley because i just got a new wheel and my old 1 was verrry different(think MS sidewinder with no FF) but i also really enjoy(more so actully) racing with a few friends and i cannot wait for the CTRA servers to be back up i was just getting into them(as yu can see from my sig). so lets all Xpress our opinions and not attck each other in this thread
