yeah it was amazingly funny watchin cars flying threw the air from my rear view mirror but evry1 restarted i think restarts should be disabled-a race is a race-we were all warned with giant YELLOW FLAG and the lil insim thing with big red arrows but noo evry1 but me shift+r'd =[

i wouldn't. I would not overtake under yellows at present but i HAVE to, to stay even marginally competitive.

lets hope Becky reads my suggestion and see if she thinks it feasible

lol- its just no one respects yellow flag-- ppl have this mentality:

i did slow(just) for that accident but i was stil caught up in it =/ it was pretty funny tho

if only there was a way to make ppl respect yellow flags-perhaps peanalise racers that overtake under yellow's with a D/T or something. can insim do that?

Ok so maby i am off on LFS tnite but i'v done that 127. ect and typed in the correct ports and passwrd but it also says:

client connect : connect failed

Ne ideas?

EDIT MKII: well i can connect to my server with the connect to specific game/main LFS server window neway and that seems to be working now. so nvm.

I also want t be able to host a didicated server on PC A and then open game (still on PC A) and play it-i have tried this but evreytime i did my lag bar went uber high and times me out =/

This debate is rather pointless. Its like the Drifters V. grippers(or w.e we call each other now) "debate", there are quite a few cruise servers but tbo only 1 or 2 are populated most of the time. There are a good few races servers-and if you really want to race on a combo but there isnt one--make one with about 12 slots on your own PC and in no time it will be full. I have been "crusing" latley because i just got a new wheel and my old 1 was verrry different(think MS sidewinder with no FF) but i also really enjoy(more so actully) racing with a few friends and i cannot wait for the CTRA servers to be back up i was just getting into them(as yu can see from my sig). so lets all Xpress our opinions and not attck each other in this thread

urm a new feature that was just implemented means some server can "force cockpit" view- maby you was on a server that did force cockpit view

Kyoto Long its the nuremburg ring(prolly spelt rong...) of LFS in my opinion i know an AS track is longer but the atmosphere in Kyoto is much...more...um...nicer lol

First off i duno if this is in right section and/or if this is a bug. anyway just now i just came off a server, i was about to reconnect to said server and i pressed my name in the lil box in the bottem left to change my name,I entered my name and pressed ok, and then i got the "cant change name-A player is connecting" that doesnt make sence as i wasnt connected to anything, hummm...

I have a screenie but all it is is wat i discribed above =/

EDIT: its reproducable,here at least lol. btw im on test patch X4(i think) *goes to check* yep X4 it is

Iv notice a much larger amount of discos' also since patch X, iv been on X and X2 hosts and the smae problem seems to arise
